Reddit the video game

I'm not american but it feels like all of the characters which are supposed to be sympathetic are basically west coast liberals with cowboy accents. On the other hand, any characters which don't represent liberal values are all very clearly antagonistic or really hamfisted satire. RDR1 was more tolerable because the story was less domineering of the overall experience

>Weather and day/night cycles fully simulated, the sun rises or falls, mist hangs in the air but may slowly clear if that's what was reported by commanders at the time, heavy rain and snow severely affects not just your units ability to see but also to hear the enemy. All in all peak milsim autism

The game is way too easy once you figure out the meta, about 10-20 hrs into the game and I've managed to turn a small country with crippled military ( due to the treaty of Versailles in ww1) into a superpower in less then 3 years game time. Also It's very annoying that the AI forming coalitions left and right inviting every country and you sperg out in frustration as it makes map painting sometimes impossible as every potential target is a member protected by 10 different countries.

Finally a game with a gruff white working class protagonist instead of a quirky lesbian with a funny coloured haircut

Plays just as good as it did back in 1997
