There won't be a very long review, cause honestly,it's a pretty basic game but oh boy, there is so much that can still be added and used as the devs keep updating the game, but basically , you start a small shop with barely anything to sell and slowly keep unlocking new items and food or beverages , hire a couple ai npc's that either add the goodies to the shelfs or take care of the cashiers ( which they should, you can unlock a perk for more money gained by them ) and keep growing the shop till you get bored.

Updates are almost daily, new things or QoL patches, honestly, since it's also free it is definitely worth a try and if you get a couple friends,it becomes a controlled chaos, with everyone running around with boxes, going to stop thieves with brooms or simply trying to keep the shop going without running out of toilet paper constantly. Try it , love it , share it. That's all I'm saying.

Black Skylands is a top-down adventure shooter, set in a fictive world with floating islands, where pirates try to overtake and beat back an empire, all in the mean time a huge swarm of cosmic monsters slowly keep sticking their heads out onto these islands,so it's up to your character to fix all that and bring back peace ( but with quite some plot twists in the mean time ) .

The graphics are pretty decent, the art style is what's really catching you after a while,it's cute and simple, with some gore here and there, since people do end up dying and ripped by monsters, the islands change a bit after you liberate them, people come back living there, doing their daily chores and whatnot, the atmosphere is nice, rain really brings out a very comforting sensation, tho maybe even a bit scary. But it's still a pixelated game,so don't go expecting Metro Exodus graphics, but rather a nice, artsy, quirky game.

Soundwise,it's also decent, the vibes are good, atmosphere is set properly for the different biomes on the islands, the wind howls around and the music regarding the story and certain events are made really well, sadly the lack of voicelines might be a downfall, cause it's replaced by a weirdly annoying sound, but it can be silenced and everything is just fine after.

The story follows Eva , who after some events and hardwork, gets tasked with watching for her old hometown, that gets taken over by pirates with their own motivations, but in the same time, the swarm slowly keeps popping up,with more monsters coming later on as the story goes, with quite the twists in the final chapters. It's good and easy to follow, with also some side quests scattered around for a bit more lore or fights.

Regarding the gameplay,i'd say it's similar to Mad Max,but from a top down perspective. You gather resources and materials from all over the open world, finding secrets on the islands, doing puzzles and also beating ships and enemies that keep patrolling all around the world. Upgrading the weapons and the ship is simple, you just need to build up some buildings on the main ship that is gonna be your base and then just have mats for it.

The gear consists in 2 skills you unlock and upgrade through a researcher, then amulets that are passives mostly and lastly,3 different weapon slots, that are sorted into different types, but the main ones have mods that add either fire rate, damage or reload speed, but no clue exactly by how much they improve cause there are no number stats, just a green and red sign what's better or worse. There are also special weapons, that can only be upgraded to deal more damage, but can't change mods on them.

You move around mostly with the grapling hook,it's also a great weapon if you get used to how it works and then you also have the ship, that has it's own different weapons and stats you can upgrade, also there are different ship types you unlock by playing, personally i've used the huge on for extra cargo space, later on switched to the fastest cause i was done upgrading and collecting stuff.

Liberating islands is the best part, you just have to kill everyone and everything and then boom, everything is back to normal, but there are also puzzles and safes that need codes, obstacles and parkour zones where you'll have to improvise with the movement and hook, but nothing too hard.

Some minor bugs were related to movement, mostly cause i kept getting stuck in dumb places with the hook, but that is easily fixed with the fast travel system or by calling your pet moth to carry you back to the ship....which also carries loot for you to the ship,so you don't have to make a hundred errands for that....also the ship's cargo is shared with the warehouse, that can be accessed at most fast travel spots and on the main ship, which is really neat.

Overall,Black Skylands is a great top-down pixelated adventure game, with a progression system similar to Mad Max,many fights and some good plot twists, really worth especially on a sale, there is also a Raid mode where you have to do certain challenges and missions to unlock some new weapons, but i've only played one to see what it is,so it's up to you if you wanna farm those.

Tannenberg is a pretty good hardcore FPS game, set in the first world war, focused on a realistic and gory battlefield setting, where almost anything can kill you instantly, with PVP being the main attraction, but due to the fact that the game is pretty dead sadly, there are more bots than players, yet they do a decent job to keep you entertained, also pushing points and killing you quite easily sometimes.

Graphics are nice, the developers really got the feeling of the older days, with how the landscape should look ravaged by war,the gas attacks, the weapons, the general look of the armies and their loadouts, there are parts where it could have been more polished, but nonetheless,it's good and has the proper vibes a game of this genre should have.

Soundwise it's also decent, you get to hear people scream left and right, when there is a march on a certain point everyone screams, yet one of the best things is that all the factions have their own voice lines acted in their own language, playing as the russians you'll hear romanians yelling on a certain hill or the hungarians screaming on another, which is a really good feature that brings so much more enjoyment while playing.

Gameplay is good as well, you will easily lose a few hours running around with others, trying to hold a hill or crawling through trenches to reach a really well defended fort, but luckily since almost everything one shots you,you can also pretty much beat anyone if you're fast enough or see them before.

The factions have different roles, which are sort of like classes and they also, respectively, have different loadouts, that you unlock simply by playing. The roles have different abilities or passives, from calling artillery strikes on points, gasing a hill or putting crates with grenades for others to resupply, but also get XP by doing different things, either getting kills from very far away or by giving orders, there's a little bit for everyone.

The most played mode is the classic point capture, where you try to hold as many points as possible to exhaust the enemies tickets, which even tho there aren't that many players playing anymore, the bots keep doing their job to fight and hold them as much as they can.

Overall,Tannenberg is a pretty fun game, with a good hardcore FPS setting and since it's the first world war, there is also a bit of lore and bits of actual history,so if you wanna try something to enjoy for a couple hours, get it on a sale and you'll have some fun for sure.

V Rising is one of the better COOP games you can currently play out on the market, with a great variety in boss fights, combat, building and also how the PVP works, that is,if you even want to have PVP.

The graphics are good, especially when there are big fights happening and the spells start flying everywhere, with the moon shining all around and some local farmers are running away with torches, also the varied zones and how they look and work differently is also a nice touch to add to the artistic side of the game.

Soundwise, yet again it's good, the voice acting is great, the nature and ambient is soothing and has a good vibe, the spells, the weapons, everything is good and just sounds right, even more enjoyable with a good sound system.

There isn't really a lot of story, mostly some bits and parts of lore, but you won't be really playing this game for story, trust me,it's all about having fun, building a castle and slowly becoming the next big Dracula dude that everyone is going to fear.

Now the best part, the gameplay . There is no way to get really bored of V Rising, because the PvE is great and varied, with many bosses, different enemies, the zones have different effects or how they work, and if all that ain't enough, you can also hop on servers or play with friends and enable PVP , where the threat of losing it all, because you can if you enable all the right settings, will keep you on your toes all the time.

One of the best parts is the castle building, where you are free to build it the way you want, tho you need to take a certain spot or landmark to say so,then get more blueprints to have more options, either the floors, the walls, crafting or gardening buildings, but there are quite a lot,all linked between them so you won't have to necessarily scrap them as you keep progressing. It's one of the nicest parts of the game, with the freedom and options you get, easily letting you waste hours upon hours just tending to your castle.

Combat is also a great and strong part of the game, with every weapon having it's own passives and skill sets, some being better in certain situations, but an even better part are the spells, the vampire powers itself, they can change how fights and combat works entirely, either with strong buffs or all out AOE attacks, but the later bosses, especially act 4 , is where the game really shines with how the combat works,it's honestly a blast and a great time, tho really challenging.

There are a lot of QoL stuff also, especially since the game came out officially, with castle relocation now an option, fast travel, custom settings for difficulties, horses, all the different chests where you can only put certain mats, there are a ton of stuff thought for the benefit of the player.

Overall,if you're seeking action, creativity and freedom of choice as to what you want to challenge,be it alone or with friends, with others hunting you or just the world itself,V Rising offers a lot, with nothing pay to win to help you win, just great gearing, awesome building options and a really fun combat system.

V Rising is worthy of it's price, but if you can get a sale,it's even better, but it's one of the better COOP games you can get right now and since now it's fully released, there ain't a better time to get it. I can assure you,you will enjoy being a vampire and becoming one of the strongest out there.

Earth 2160 is one of the more old school RPG's out there, set in a futuristic universe where war has lead to humanity barely having any options left to survive,Earth being destroyed in the past years and now forced to find a new way to survive, with a decent campaign spread out in 4 different factions, each linked and playing the story forward, with great base building mechanics, good troop management and a decent fun factor as well.

Graphics are decent even for today's standards, with the effects looking good, the free camera that let's you zoom in and rotate however your heart pleases, the different maps and planets are also nice and varied, sadly the widescreen support lacks entirely, the HUD is barely readeable on higher resolutions, but in general,it's decent.

Soundwise, the music and ambiance is really well done, quite a joy to just listen to the winds howling and then the music just pumping out atmosphere into a tense situation or fight, the voice acting is also pretty good, all in all,it's a good piece of artwork.

The story follows a couple heroes that try to find a certain planet that is supposed to be a legend, all while trying to survive an alien race that is quite ready to wipe everyone out,all spanned out across different campaigns that feature the four races that you can also play in Skirmish modes or in online matches, that is,if you can find any or anyone to play with.

Now regarding gameplay, the best part is the different mechanics and the way you expand your forces with each faction, because the ED for example need to build around a central building, the LC is limited to modules on main foundations, the aliens just keep multiplying, which lead to all sorts of different tactics and also ways to fortify or hold specific zones.

You can freely research whatever you want, which leads to customizing your troops after, with different armors that work well against a certain damage type, weapons with different effects or a combination between them, giving you the option to not be locked behind a certain meta build or order, but rather a fun and enjoyable fighting experience.

The main heroes also have their own inventories, which is a really cool idea, letting you sometimes even handle entire squads all alone with the hero, especially after leveling them up,because the units, not just the heroes, gain xp as they fight, which in turn boosts most of their stats, very important to try and keep the veterans alive, because they can change drastically who wins a fight.

Some missions are based on surviving for a certain amount of time, some require to explore and keep people alive, yet mostly you will have to defeat a certain base or destroy something to advance forward or win in general.

The most annoying bug is that you can't exactly type in-game anymore,no clue exactly why,so when you boot the game up first time,if you want to register it,it's gonna take a bit of time to do it,personally i've copy pasted everything by Shift-tabbing on Steam and using a chat box to write what I needed and copy it back in-game,but that's pretty much the biggest issue the game has now.

Didn't really play skirmish or multiplayer,i've mostly just went for the campaign,I had the original boxed version long ago,but the game brings back memories and it's a joy to fight off some robots or tanks occasionally.

Overall, even if it's an old game,Earth 2160 is still a pretty good RTS,that sadly lost a lot of it's fanbase with it's registration process, but get through that and you get a decently long story, different factions that all have their own quirks and quite the soundtrack to go along with it. A solid game, often on sale, worth it for any RTS fans.

Helldivers 2 is one of the most fun COOP games right now out on the market, that you can also play all alone, but if you want to really spread Democracy, you should find or at least try to talk to some people, cause there are a lot of bugs and robots that need to learn how Freedom works and that it's just a normal human right to have the luxury of Liberty.

Graphically, the game is absolutely stunning, especially if you can crank up everything to Ultra and play on a 4K ready system, but honestly,in order to do that, you will need a really beefy PC , i'd say mine is quite a good one,but it's struggling here and there on high settings, not on a fully rendered native resolution, but nonetheless, when the orbital strikes drop down and the map has fire tornadoes all around you, there is a special feeling that the game does really well to show you.

Soundwise, yet again, all the chaos and the war going on all around,it's made very well, especially with a good speaker system or a good headset, with all the ambiance that is also very hostile in most cases, all your allies screaming Freedom while bleeding out and well....dying pretty much, but then the Eagles drop some heavy loads that just wipe out everything, including your squad...but yes,it's very well done as well.

Now as story goes,it's not really interesting, you're part of a so called Elite Squad named Helldivers, who are tasked to spread Democracy and Freedom all around the galaxy, for the better of mankind, while also making sure everyone is safe, but dare I say ( which might sound like a bit of treason ) that something and sometimes, you get the feeling not all is what it seems and that there might be fishy things going on back on Super Earth and all the speeches regarding the lovely Democracy.

Gameplay is absolutely hectic, pure chaos and fun, that is complemented with a smooth character moveset and some awesome abilities to help you spread the very important Democracy that we are all fighting for,be it in a full squad of 4 or all alone, with balls as big as the Bile Titan.

As you unlock difficulties, the missions will start to vary,be it short ones that are around 5 to 15 minutes or longer ones, which are around 20 to 50 minutes, depending on your loadouts, teammates and how much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is going to happen while on the planet. There are a total of 9 difficulties for now,but probably more will come as more content will be added.

The abilities are called Stratagems, which are also split up into different categories, some are AoE destruction oriented ones ( Orbital and Eagle ) while others are weapon drops or turrets ( Patriot or Engineering ) and you unlock these with Requisition points that you get from missions and points of interest on the maps, that might also have medals or SC or samples, all of those being resources you need to unlock more stuff.

Weapons and passives are unlocked with samples and medals, but there is a premium currency you can get from either looting, from warbonds or spending real money, but you don't get forced into buying anything, cause after all,you can get everything by just spreading more and more Democracy, while raising the difficulty so you get more rewards for all the Freedom fighting you do.

The game happens in a live service system,in a fictional galaxy, with new planets and missions unlocking as the war goes on,with different effects and issues you face on almost every planet, but even then, you can use those situations for your own benefit ( play laser weapons on a cold planet,it overheats slower basically ) but the variety is nice and very well done.

Coop is extremely fun,it works almost flawlessly, with a very easy system to join any on-going operation, you can also request help if you play alone and feel overwhelmed by using a stratagem intended for that very reason, but if you wanna play alone, you're free to do so,the game will still be hard no matter what.

There aren't that many bugs, mostly related to getting stuck in some weird textures or spots that shouldn't even exist, but nothing really game breaking or to seem like an exploit of some kind. Tho there are sometimes server issues, with how many people are playing, yet those seem to be fixed at this point.

Overall,Helldivers 2 is one of the best COOP games you can play right now, with a lot of content to bring you back, huge replaying value, great graphics and vibes,a ton of bugs to squash and Democracy to be spread and even if it's price might seem a bit high,it is well worth it,it is so easy to lose a hella lot of hours in it,even if I might have under 10 hours right now,i'm sure I will be well over 50 by the end of March, there's just that much fun you can have in it.

Warhammer 40K Gladius is a turn based RTS that seems similar to Civilization but is oriented more towards the war part instead of diplomacy or economy and while it sounds like it would be great and fun, there is an issue that i'll talk about at the end.

As graphics go,it looks pretty good, some of the units are drawn really accurately and with all the different color pallets you get to experience all sorts of lore friendly troops, the terrain is textured nicely and you get to tell if some places have positive or negative passives just by looking at them, the outposts are differentiated well,it's good and well made after all.

Soundwise, the biggest issue is that in order to really make the game shine, you will have to get some mods from the steam workshop in order to have proper voicelines for most of the characters, which is really sad considering how much an RTS game works on voicelines, but everything else is done well, the music is also decent, just has that one issue.

There's barely any story, you can just get some bits and pieces of lore by playing the factions or reading stuff around, but most of the missions are just randomly generated based on your selections,be it map size or number of enemies or all the other settings you can tweak around.

Gameplay is what really brings the game to shine a bit more, because there will be lots of fights and many wars to be won,but you will have to manage your resources quite well, while also pushing for more outposts and defending the tiles that you grab. It sounds easy, but there's a minor issue with all that.

The DLC's are mostly just a whole new faction, but the overall joy and pleasure is mostly achieved when you get to fight all of them at once or have a friend play with you in a hard 2vs4 scenario, but the lack of some of the factions really cuts the replayability after a while, because the strategies won't just change overnight.

You have the classic infantry for almost all the factions, but with different playstyles, the resources they use are also different, the way they expand is switched up,which do bring new situations or difficult choices, cause they might bring you an easy win or a total defeat.

The fights and the expansion happens on tiles, same as in Civilization, with all the troops having different ranges or skills that might only work in close combat or fire extremely far,but just as you can use all those, your opponents can do so as well,so learning some of the more common units surely helps securing that juicy victory.

Overall,i'd say that Gladius - Relics of War is a good RTS game, but heldback by the pricey DLC's that should either have a lower price or bring just a tad more to the table, and also the fact that some mods are just a must in order to have a much better game than the original,so waiting for some sales would be the best move you can do regarding this title.

It's a decent puzzle/hentail game, with the scenes being animated pretty ok,but the dialogue is sadly quite lackluster and written poorly, yet for the 1.40 price tag,it's what you'd expect after all.

It's a very simple and easy to play puzzle game, where you just arrange pieces of the puzzle, which can be 6,12 or 24,up to your choice. Nothing special really, just a decent time waster I guess.

Winter Assault is the first expansion to Dawn of War that brings two new campaigns, where you get to play the Eldar and the Imperial Guards and also the Chaos Marines and Orks, lots of new fights and cutscenes and the best part, even more gore and big boom's that you already expected from a Warhammer game.

As already specified in my older review regarding Dawn of War , graphically and soundwise it is still pretty much the same, maybe with some of the effects being a bit more shiny or textured, but even so,still looks pretty decent, has a good vibe,it's generally good.

Gameplay is yet again very similar to the first original game, but what varies is the style of the campaign missions, being harder because of the limited units in some certain ones, wave based attacks and also much more defensive missions,so that would be biggest difference compared to the first game, which is a welcomed change in my opinion.

Storywise,it's pretty generic, the good guys wanna revive a big robot, but then sometimes get into a fight against each other and stuff like that and the bad guys just wanna kill everything and beat everyone and....have fun doing it I'd say.

There aren't that many bugs, but the worst and most annoying is pretty much the way the AI moves units and it's absolutely horrible when playing the Orks cause they always get stuck in each other or can't pass or will simply stop doing anything, but everything else is pretty ok.

Overall it's good, just as fun and engaging as the first Dawn of War,but with new campaigns, units for multiplayer and factions,it's generally just a better and improved version, really worth playing it at least once.
