CyberCum is a pretty simple erotic game, where you match blocks and different colors in order to deal damage or heal, get some coins and buy upgrades for those said blocks all while figuring out why someone wanted to kill you and take your p***s away...

It's an ok-ish game, not really worth three bucks, but it's simple, you can get the achievements quite easily, but there are very few scenes and they're pretty bland,so i'm only recommending it cause the block matching part wasn't that bad. Really up to you if you wanna get this one.

Warhammer 40K Space Marine is a simple TPS set in the universe of Warhammer, where you're tasked to stop an ork invasion by simply being an awesome Ultramarine that is pretty much worth a few hundreds of soldiers, but it all goes to hell and back when a great plot twist shows up and sends the entire world you're on into a high alert, where the outcome is a very bad one.

Graphics are quite decent, nothing extremely eye catchy or stunning, but since it is Warhammer, the scale of the fights and the environment is also on point, featuring lots of huge buildings, tanks, all the equipment you figure you would find in the 40K universe, but the Titan and the last place where the game ends, they're all great and give a great atmosphere with their scale.

Soundwise it's also pretty good, standard, tho it's nice how you can listen to the enemies yell around or running around trying to defeat you, cause after all, being an Ultramarine does have quite the scary factor around it and the voice acting is also quite good, especially with the Chaos Boss and your character, they have a very strong vibe to them.

The story is also quite interesting,it shows off the honor and faith of the Space Marines, how they aim to save as many of the humans as possible while also being really badass, but also the plot twists are pretty nice and engaging,so it's a good experience in the end.

Now as gameplay goes, the game is quite simple, all you have to do is whack some orks or chaos mobs, shoot some of them, blow them up,all the crazy stuff you expected after all. But it's made in a way that's fun and easy to learn, with achievements ready to be earned if you wanna try some of the challenges they are presented with.

You got all the tools you'd want to get to save the world, the classic chainsword,a storm axe,the thunder hammer (which is great but it hinders the ability to use the 2 handed weapons) and all the ranged weapons you'd want in a war, from a bolter or a sniper all the way to the laser cannon and the plasma gun, which I really recommend having for the tougher enemies.

The maps are pretty linear, not really many open spots or exploring to be done, tho there are logs scattered around that tell more about the lore, but that's pretty much all regarding exploration and map secrets, but there are great moments and many fights that are satisfying almost all the time, where you either have to defeat some waves or push through a solid defense, there's a little bit for everyone.

Some upgrades can be found as you progress, mostly related to your Fury, the shield and the Bolter, but the last Bolter honestly becomes so useful and damaging you can pretty much finish the game with it and if you time the Fury ability properly, you can stay alive by healing over time and landing headshots with the time slowing ability.

I haven't gotten into the online part of the game, tho i've heard that it's quite fun, letting you customize around with many modes and some interesting objectives, but I just never really had the mood to get into it.

There is one big issue, one of the missions crashes almost everytime unless you set everything to low, disable most graphical settings and play on the lowest resolution,I have no clue as to why the crash occurs or why these steps fixes it,but that's the only way I found that also worked for me.

Overall,Warhammer 40K Space Marine is a pretty good TPS, with a great atmosphere set in a war ravaged world, but with some issues regarding bugs and crashes, tho those can be easily put aside because of the fun and experience you get from the game. A good idea to get this on a sale, but if you're a hardcore fan,you won't be sorry for gettin it.

Drake Hollow is a very simple surviving adventure RPG set in a dream world, where your main mission is to try save that said world, grow and take care of some of the cutest little villagers ever, build them a village that can sustain itself and obviously, get home in the end. But it's not that simple after all...

Graphics are pretty decent,it has some very good looking moments, but winter is actually where it really starts looking better,it just has a much better vibe, where it really brings out your whole village's overall image. The effects are standard, nothing amazing there, but the drakes, the little guys you save and grow, they are just so,so,so cute and lovely, you will literally start caring about them like their your own real community.

Soundwise,it's also pretty standard, but again,on winter it gets better, where the heating and all the stuff around seems a bit more alive, wish they would have made a weather change occasionally to really bring out the ambiance more, but it's still decent, the music is also quite chill and relaxing.

Regarding the story,it's quite average, there are bits and pieces of lore spread around the islands, some cutscenes that follow what happens in the real world, but it's just enough to giive you an idea of what's going on and what needs to be done. Luckily, the gameplay is there to save everything.

As soon as you start, you're hit with the good old tutorial, get some items, fight off the baddies and save some drakes. Simple, but then it starts getting better. There are 4 chapters and each of them is a season, with a different requirement regarding the functionality of your village (camp, that's how it's called in-game) , with winter being the most fun and exciting.

The most important part of the game is the village itself, this is where you're going to upgrade most of your passives, where you can get gadgets and also where the drakes will live. There are levels that the village can gain,xp being the age and number of drakes you have,so obviously, the more and older, the better, but that comes at a great cost.

Buildings take up a few budget points,so sadly you can't build infinitely and they also have functions, either utility, defense or leisure, but also a HP bar. That's cause there are raids from the enemies now and then,so you either build a solid defense at the expense of other utility buildings or make sure you get back in time to help beat the mobs back.

You also need schematics and resources to build and also charms, which you get interacting with the drakes, older ones giving you way more charms. But you also need water, food and entertainment to keep the drakes happy and alive, also beds to make sure they sleep well and don't die from being too tired. And yes, drakes can DIE and you will be sad if they do,cause you'll end up loving those damned drakes.

Get enough resources and make sure the village is steady,so you can grow the drakes and get their passives. There are quite a lot of passives and each age levels up the passives,so if you want twice the drop rate for loot, make sure you grow the drake that gives you that passive. You also get more passive slots by leveling the camp and if that's not enough, you also get xp killing mobs, getting stuff done and questing, which lets you level up some basic stuff like more damage, more resistance, that stuff.

All the farming and building happens in all the seasons, all of them with their own islands that you can explore, only the main island with your village remains the same, but you will need different gadgets to be able to get to all the different spots, either a launch pad to get on a roof,a torch to save drakes when winter comes, wards to be able to walk in the void (although it's just a fancier water) and the most important, waypoints.

You use waypoints to build a rail above the ground so you can travel faster between the islands and also to link different supply trucks scattered around to that said rail, which give you quite a lot of resources in the long run. But there are also obstacles in this journey.

The enemies are sadly not that different or varied,it's pretty much the same 6 or 7 enemies, that scale with the level of your camp, also the gear you find scales with the camp as well,so the higher you go,the better and harder it gets, which just makes the game more fun and exciting instead of being the same stuff all the time.

Combat is pretty simple, quite the same combos no matter what you do,a light attack,a charge,a block or just pop a ranged weapon and snipe enemies or blow em to bits with the shotgun,it's all up to your playstyle, but it does have a pretty simplistic combat system.

You an also tackle all this in with friends,up to 3 I believe,so 4 people can play at the same time, but I've went all solo this time,I just enjoyed it more and loved taking care of the village on my own.

Sadly, the only reason I can't give the game a steady 10 and to say that it's worth it's full price is simply cause it does get repetitive after a while and also it's replayability value isn't exactly sky high because it still remains the same game anyway. But on the other hand,i've left out some things from the review that are such a nice touch to the game and they all revolve around the drakes, cause they should remain a surprise in case you end up playing.

For me personally,Drake Hollow ended up as one of the most chill and relaxing game in the last few years, with some great memories, mostly cause of the cute little drakes that you really start loving and caring about and it's a really great adventuring RPG so overall, if base building and needs managing along with a decent combat and grind is your thing, I really recommend this game to you.

Crown Trick is a pretty chill but interesting roguelike RPG set in a fantastical dream world, where the main character is tasked to fight her way out of the dungeons, stay alive, save some peeps and cute allies, all in a quite difficult turn-based styled gameplay.

Graphics are decent, nothing extremely jaw dropping or intense,it's quite a simple but colorful experience, tho while fighting and combining elements to create huge combos and damaging situations, you'll find some moments to be looking pretty nice, but all in all,it's decent, works on pretty much any PC's out there. Quite a cute and pleasant art style as well,so that's a nice plus added to it.

As sound goes,it's also pretty decent, quite a standard vibe, along some nice tunes here and there, but it's nothing spectacular, yet some of the enemies do have some funny sounds when hit, that is if you even stop long enough to realize them.

The story ain't bad either, there's some interesting parts and it develops slowly but steadily as you progress, the peeps you meet along the journey also make it much more interesting and engaging, but in general the Crown itself is the cherry on top in most cases.

Now since it is a rogulike, gameplay is where the game actually hooks you on and makes you try yet one more run, hoping that your luck and skill with let you push more dungeons, advance even further, get some new loot and discover all the secrets that the devs left there for you. But it's gonna take quite a while to get there.

The entire game works in turns, any action is basically one turn,so if you want to move, attack or set a spell, the entire map moves after your action,so even if the game is roguelike, strategies and planning are a huge factor that will determine if you will win a fight or maybe lose it from the very few early turns. If that sounds engaging,no worries, the item variation and spells are even better.

There are quite a lot of weapons and spells to get,all having different mechanics, passives and ways of using, you either poke with a fire spear from a few blocks away, try to snipe with an icey sniper even further away or just go all in their faces with two poisonous daggers,it's really up to you. Spells come from the familiars, beings you get from progressing and beating bosses, all of them having their own unique spells, which then leads to awesome combos.

You drop a barrel filled with oil between some enemies, pop it open far away with a sniper when they get near it and then set it on fire with a different spell, meanwhile maybe a different trap around the fire also pops up and does even more damage than you'd assume in the beginning. The combat is pretty good and fluid because of all this, but it does get quite difficult as you keep killing bosses and advance.

You find and save some of the peeps I've mentioned, which unlock new passives, items or utility based stuff,so you will most likely have to grind a few runs in order to power up and get some new skills, but also blueprints which are really helpful later on,luckily the resources are pretty easy to get by simply just playing.

Overall, this roguelike RPG takes on a different approach to the genre, combining a fluid turn based combat with the classic dungeon-crawling we all got used to,but Crown Trick is quite nice,so a fan of these type of games will be surely pleased by it. Getting it on a sale might be a good idea,it does have discounts quite often, but it's full price is also not really that big,so it's up to you. Worth a try, even for people who are new to these kind of games.

Call of Duty:Black Ops Cold War is a fast paced FPS , bringing the good old crazy action, fun lobbies and great weapon customization right back into the spotlights and now that it's finally on Steam,it's probably the best time to get your hands on it.

Now,graphically, the game is quite gorgeous, yet again the details and the time spent on the weapons is really making a difference, with each and every piece of arsenal you can find or use in the game looking spectacular and unique, well polished and accompanied by some great effects, fire and lights being really brought out if you have an RT capable GPU and some of the story missions will leave you stunned by it's beauty.

Now soundwise, the game also seems very well designed and on-point,it's honestly one of the easiest games to figure out where gunshots come from, where a threat might be or where running goes on,obviously on a good headset or speaker setup, but still,it was done well,it's great and also the soundtrack is pretty catchy, especially when you're tuning weapons in the main menu.

The story missions are extremely fun, challenging if you up the difficulty,it's really exciting to make it to the end on the hardest one,but then there is also the main strong point of the game, the online modes and Zombies, both of which you can easily waste hours upon hours, without even realizing it.

And now,the gameplay, which is the really important side of Cold War. Featuring a great arsenal of weapons, tons of customizing options, awesome skill streaks and interesting perks, there is no way you can't find something fun for you, either a stealthy build or an all out explosive one.

The guns are amazing, there is so much design on them, from the small pistols all the way to the RPG and the chaotic yet awesome crossbow, they are all so much fun to play with and if you think you're going to get bored with them...there is even more to it. Stats matter in many cases,so if you're going with a shotgun against a sniper, chances are slim that you're gonna win,but that can be a bit altered if you play around with attachments, one of the best thing in the entire arsenal.

All of the weapons have different stats that you can alter with attachments, that lead to different patterns, faster ADS times or can even turn a weapon into a one-hit wonder, but that does take a bit of time and practice, but also becomes extremely satisfying to do. If all that sounds pretty nice, then there is also the fact that every kind of kill you get,be it from a distance, with a grenade or any weapon, they all can get you rewards,be it either a skin or a new attachment or a profile decoration, but do keep in mind, all the weapons have their own kill rewards,so there is quite a lot to grind if you want to get everything, but you can also just play casually and not care about such things.

The skill streaks are really great and fun, especially the last tier of them, which can be literally game changing if used and played well, either to hold off players from a point or enable one last push from your team to get a point or secure some kills to win the match. Another very important part is the perk system, that enables different play styles and loadouts,so if you are losing too often in a specific way,you can just switch around and try something new, maybe more bullets, faster sprints or more nades,it's all up to you.

There is a very simple leveling system, everything you do get's you XP but if you stay alive more, you also get more,so rushing in foolishly is not the best tactic all the time, but there are maps where you won't really have a choice, yet on modes like Search and Destroy,a bit of planning and a good nade can easily win you a round. For me personally, Team Deatmatch along with Search and Destroy are the best modes to play, with some of the funniest lobbies you can encounter, everything is so random there,be it jokes, late night snacks or serious debates about political views.... there really is a bit of everything in those lobbies.

I didn't really play Zombies,so I don't know too much about it,even tho I have played before on battle.net for far more hours than on Steam, but there is quite the community for it and the maps seem really fun,tho the older ones might still be better, yet I just never really got into it,the online matches just seemed more fun for me.

There are all sorts of random bugs, minor ones, either a slower loading texture or a tiny ping drop here and there, but one issue that I had without even realizing it,is that if you don't download the HD textures, the game will stutter quite often and quite a lot of skins and weapons won't load properly in the arsenal menu,so make sure you download that if you encounter the issue.

Overall,Black Ops Cold War is a great fast paced FPS game, with an awesome campaign, very exciting and fun multiplayer, absolutely one of the better modern COD's that are worth to get,but because of it's age and price tag, huge install size ( roughly around 210 GB ) i'd say to get it on a sale, rather than it's full price. Nonetheless,a very good game and if you're a fan,an absolute gem you're going to love after just a few matches.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a TPS-RPG set in the world of the Alien Series, where you are part of a squad set on the task of rescuing and figuring out what went wrong on a space station orbiting a strange planet. It all sounds relatively easy, but it really won't be easy at all.

The graphics are pretty good, the effects are made to complement the horror side of the game, with steam vents, random metal plates falling off, saliva dripping off giving you a feeling of being stalked and also the planet is pretty well drawn, especially the alien ship found on it. Explosions, fire, the models and the weapons all look pretty decent,it all looks pretty polished, especially some of the acidic aliens leave melted spots on the map sometimes, which is a nice touch.

Soundwise it's also good, all the weapons sound unique and have a good vibe attached, really making you like some of them just for the way they sound, especially the autocannon and snipers, those are lovely. The enemies also screetch, lurk around, you can really get overwhelmed if a big swarm shows up,the sound get's quite terrifying at that point and obviously....the motion tracker is just amazing, both as a horror inducing and helping tool.

The story is pretty average, nothing exemplary there, just a basic OP where you have to rescue a certain scientist, but then everything goes bad and you're tasked to figure out where and when it all went downhill, but it's not bad,it's pretty interesting and fun after all.

Gameplay is the strong part of the game, because of the replaying value it has. The missions, the gear, the classes, the difficulty and the challenge cards all switch up the game and how it plays out.

The missions are spread out in four campaigns, each with three parts, kinda like an intro-keypoint-ending style, with different objectives and also varied spawn points, number of enemies, even some of the environmental hazard or vocal responses from the AI changing based on difficulty or challenge cards used. They are all balanced overall, with some great moments, some ambushes,a couple boss fights, really fun especially after you can up the diff.

Gearing is a really fun and exciting part of the game, with all the weapons having their own level, that goes up to 4. There are rifles, dmr's,smg's,shotguns, handcannons,OG Alien series weapons, heavy equipment,it's got quite a lot for everyone. Some are better in some scenarios, others are mediocre but can deal with anything in general,it's up to you to experiment and find your own style and build.

Regarding builds, they can be made playing one of the 6 classes ( 1 bonus class after certain requirements ) which all have two weapon slots, either a heavy or long range slot and a smaller one or just two smaller slots for fast targets and sticky situations, tho I really recommend not letting aliens that close to you. For me personally, the demolisher and tehnician became the most fun to play, with perks and abilities to be able to finish the game quite easily.

You get perks, weapons, colors, decals and gadgets from finishing missions and finding hidden caches on every map and mission,so do keep an eye open for those as well. Difficulty does affect the amount of XP,credits and the loot you can get, with some of the better weapons and cooler perks/colors only dropped on higher difficulties. Intense is probably the best for solo players, after getting better gear and attachments for your weapons, getting your CR to at least 500-550,but Extreme and Insane might be better to try mostly online, cause it's really hard at that point.

Challenge cards, alongside difficulty, change the rewards and can even get you new stuff, but changing how missions work, either making the AI way harder than it should be or limiting your weapons damage or your own HP,all sorts of effects, definitely worth used to level up faster and get stuff easier, but only if you're prepared for some really hard showdowns.

Online matches and playing in coop is very fun,but also very recommended to actually enjoy everything the game has and can offer if you're willing to dive into a replayable game. Tho,a bit of communication is also needed, because on the max diff, friendly fire is enabled entirely so killing your allies is even easier than kicking some alien ass and that is not something you need when there are 40 of them running towards you.

Overall,Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a great TPS-RPG game, combining great action moments with bits and pieces of the good old horror the Alien Series has, where grinding and having fun goes hand in hand, either to climb the difficulty, get all the gear and maxing it or just enjoying yourself blasting slimy....bugs. A very well worth game.

Chernobylite is a hardcore surviving FPS game, with base building and tiny bits of horror here and there, but everything comes together and works perfectly, which as a result got us an amazing game that for me personally will leave a mark for a long time now.

Graphics wise,it looks absolutely stunning, the atmosphere is extremely well done and if you have RTX capability,it just gets even better. Reflections, the rain, the fog, water in general, feels and looks extremely good, the sun and every light sources are very well done,it just feels very "post nuclear" , the only issue I sometimes had was motion blur sometimes worked on grass or some trees, slightly blurring them, but even so,a purely gorgeous game, very well done graphically.

On the sound part,it's also pretty well worked on,especially regarding the environment, which really helps to set the ambiance and somehow insert a certain sadness into the player, especially considering that the place and history of it,is in fact really sad. Echoes of gunshots, random screams from monsters or soldiers, the thunders or the howling wind, the silent but hard steps of the monsters, the chit-chatting of the soldiers, everything is great and on point.

About the story,it's also designed in a very interesting way, letting you choose a lot of stuff, everything having a certain effect, some might lead to the death of someone or might get you a new ally, but featuring a very good plot twist,an interesting mechanic that also lets you change the story ( by dying ) and the guilt that some choices sometimes bring onto the player,it's really well executed and designed.

As gameplay goes,it's just....awesome. You have the option to try, survive and win all alone or try and finish the ultimate heist on the final mission with all the allies you can find, but keeping everyone alive and well is a really tough mission on it's own.

The arsenal you have is sadly a bit limited, only a couple weapons to use,but the way you can customize them and change a lot regarding their behaviour and looks just makes them so much more unique and really fun to play with, tho on higher difficulties getting ammo and actually being a gun-blazing stalker is in fact quite hard to do,but still manageable especially after really building up the base.

Speaking about the base, there are quite many items you can craft and build, some related to crafting, some just for looks and the most important, those that provide stats and food. All the allies have "demands", that are comfort, air quality, radiation levels and food, which are very important to keep as high as possible, that way their morale and health will always be higher and you won't risk their death or to make them leave you.

Obtaining components and loot is relatively easy, you have a PDA that you can upgrade later in-game from an ally, that highlights loot all around you,so you just go and grab em,do remember that difficulty also affects how much loot you find but there are also skills you learn from allies that help up the quantity.

The skill tree is quite simple, but in order to get the skills, you have to get all the allies and learn from them,so if you get one killed or never recruit, those skills are gone entirely. To level up,you just loot, build, kill and obviously,do the missions.

Missions are pretty much the same to say so,you scavenge and build up the base, your gear and while sending allies out to do missions as well,do check their chances to actually do the said mission,so you don't risk getting them killed. The story missions and some of the side-guests are different tho, really entertaining and fun, quite exciting to say so.

Combat wise it's pretty good, you either go stealth, which the game actually suggests, but unless you're on a higher difficulty, with some FPS experience before, you won't really have trouble just gunning down almost everything hostile. Sadly, the minor bugs I kept encountering are related to the hitboxes, sometimes a direct hit you see never really connects or just phases through enemies, but usually it's a 1-2 bullet issue, nothing too bad.

Overall,Chernobylite is an awesome hardcore, base building survival FPS,with some of the best graphics out there right now,a very interesting and captivating story, filled with intense moments, jaw dropping atmosphere and just a pure joy for those willing to try their luck in The Zone.

Volcanoids is an exploring survival game, that can be enjoyed single player or coop, where you have to survive volcanic eruptions, build up a huge drill and fight off bad evil robots, which is all pretty simple after all,but it's way more than that.

Graphics wise, the game looks pretty nice, especially details on the weapons and inside the drill, with all the engines, clocks and machinery working, all the explosions and effects are quite decent, the first few volcano eruptions are also quite exciting but then you get used to them.

As sound goes,it's also pretty ok,everything has it's own effects, you can pinpoint easily where something is or comes from, the atmosphere could be a bit better tho, especially after an eruption, but there are still updates coming out so there is still time for improvements.

Now gameplay, that's where it shines. It is really fun,the way you develop your own drill or if you prefer, you can go and capture the robots drills, but for me personally, developing my own was way more fun and seeing all the improvements, the way it gets better, stronger and way larger than you'd believe initially,it was the thing that really got me to like the game.

You can farm resources all around the island,go underground and get different, rarer ones or just farm robots, which if you want, you can also raid their drills, but that's a bit harder and riskier. Weapons are great, fun, tho you will absolutely need explosives once you advance into T2 , the enemy tanks are a huge pain otherwise.

Modifying your drill is easy, you just use a wrench, slap a furniture there,a chest here, maybe upgrade the tracks, add a turret or a refinery, everything is just smooth and easy to learn and get used to. A big plus is that you can automate most of the production and research,so you just use and expand the drills cargo space and you can then use drones to farm for you or fight alongside you while the workbenches do the work for you in the drill,as long as you are not underground, hiding from an eruption.

Combat is nice, hitboxes are pretty good, some fights are harder than you'd initially thought (again,COG tanks),reinforcements can come from pretty much anywhere,so do plan a raid properly and grab some armor with you. The max tier is T3 right now,but who knows, maybe later on there will be even more added, but the game does end once the final mission is done,so if you want to enjoy the game more, save before going for the last mission so you can return to it and still farm/develop or have fun before.

If playing online, there will be more robots and they will spawn faster, but they will still be manageable,no big deal. I played with a friend,it runs great, missions are shared, everything is shared,it was a fluid and very good experience. Had minor bugs, some loot was stuck in the ground and some mobs despawned before I could loot them, but that was all.

Overall,Volcanoids is a great surviving explorer, that is awesome in singleplayer and very fun online. There are sales quite often on it,but i'd say it's current price is easily worth it for how fun it can be and i'm sure there will be more updates later on.

Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box is an arcade racing game, featuring high speed racing, stunts and crazy crashes, all around a beautiful and well crafted coastal city.

Graphically, the game looks pretty good even now, especially some of the cars are very well made, with details and crashes really affecting the looks of the car, either breaking a headlight or cracking a window all the way to a full on crash and just breaking the car entirely.

Soundwise,it's really nice, some of the engines are a pure joy to ramp up and listen to,roaring like some monstrous beasts and then there's the soundtrack, which i'd say is one of the best songs in a racing game,up there on the leaderboard near NFS MW (the old one) and Underground 2 .

Regarding story and gameplay,it's pretty simple. Win races, get cars,go fast....but also have a ton of fun doing it. There are quite a lot of events and stuff to do,but for me the races and the road rage events proved to be the most fun, with pretty simple and straightforward rules, but since there are no limits to where and how you get to the finish line, almost every event is a whole new experience.

Most cars have an upgraded version you get by winning a time trial, all of them with different spray patterns, featured in three main types of cars (Speed,Stunt and Aggressive). The map is open all the time, with lots of jumps, shortcuts and a pretty big variety of objects you can crash into.

Only encountered some minor bugs, crashed into a suddenly spawned AI car that crashed before and fallen through some textures after respawning, but that just put me back onto the road,no big deal.

Now as online gameplay comes,I didn't try it but I do believe that if you want to enjoy the online part, getting the remastered version is a better idea. On the topic of the remastered version, that also has most of the DLC's for a cheaper deal, dlc's that mostly bring new cars to the game.

Overall, this is a great arcade racing game, that is a lot of fun to play, has great music,a ton of cars, just a great game in general. Definitely worth a try.

DarkStar One is a space exploring TPS featuring a very advanced ship,a pretty large map with many events to find and do,a decent story but also a pretty good combat system.

Graphically,it looks pretty ok,some of the effects could be a bit better or polished and there are parts when the bloom is sort of overly saturated, but it's quite enjoyable flying around checking out different planets, space stations or some of the asteroids you can checkout. On a sidenote, all the different zones also have their own vibes and colors,so that's a nice touch to the general looks.

Sound wise,it is pretty average, nothing really stands out or becomes jaw dropping or goose bump-inducing,but the voices are done quite well, localization and surround is decent, overall, not bad.

Now as gameplay goes, here it gets interesting, cause the ship develops as you find some crystals that you spend after on developing either engines, hull or turrets, all of them with different benefits, luckily at the end of the game you can get all the upgrades,so you can choose whatever you like.

All the factions have their own weapon that has different levels or a rarer version you can find from missions or pirate captains, some are kinetic or energy based, some are explosive or barely do damage, but have different effects. Gadgets and ship abilities can be upgraded and unlocked as you progress, opening up more zones and different tactics, even getting to the point where you can take down cruisers all alone, but that is pretty late in-game.

Most stations have some random missions or you can just trade or be a pirate and shoot down police patrols or merchants, all of them turning you slowly into either an outlaw or a trader or just be a jack of all trades.

Now,some of the story missions are harder than they should be,especially the two station defense ones, where you control a turret. Those are way too hard, might even seem broken, especially the latter one,but besides that,it's pretty fun and balanced.

Didn't encounter too many bugs, very minor ones at least, where a drone was stuck so I booped it a bit with the ship and fixed it,a conversation stayed on,seemed neverending but again, hit his ship with mine and it was fixed,so nothing game-breaking from my experience.

Overall, for the price it has,it's definitely worth a try,it is a good space exploring game, with some unique features and moments with nothing to really complain about.
