it's fine

Slime Rancher is the perfect break from the storm that is the world. Unapologetically silly, adorably charming, and so so easy to slip into an endless session of, this game is exactly the positive influence we need in the world.

i lost four of my favourite characters in one mission and nearly cried

9.5/10 definitely worth

Tons of new items, bosses, enemies, and interesting game mechanics; more environmental details and graphics; gameplay is much smoother than original, much less in the way of bugs; interesting new item synergies; incredible new soundtrack and much more. if you enjoyed the original game, this is a must have.

Endless worlds, endless species of most likely most-thirsty creatures, endless weapons and many different tiers of materials to make armour, weaponry, and all sorts of guff with. Not to mention the bosses: Alien penguins bent on world domination; check. Giant undead fire-breathing dragons; of course. Giant blobs of malevolent goo; why not? 9/10, I do reccomend it, especially if you have friends with it.

Do you like giant robots that blow ♥♥♥♥ up? Of course you do. Do you like using rockets to sprint around and shoot other giant-ass robots until your vision is just 'splosions? Hell yeah you do.
