Late reply by a matter of two years lol, but yeah I get the defence, it's just that personally I find attacking NPCs stupid and dumb which adds to the game for me rather than retracts. I could see how in a server with randoms, or with a bad friend, it's made much more annoying than fun though.

To be honest I had said it at the time because I was playing this with a friend, but it just wasn't fun, and I blamed it all on not being able to attack NPCs. But in the end I just don't think we were gonna find it fun, even if I really enjoy this game by myself.

Yeah I heard, it just really annoyed me in the moment that you have to go out your way just to enable the feature. Made it even worse when I went to go blast open a scientists head and instead nothing happens, he doesn't even go ape shit. I just wanted to fuck around in a video game with my friend man.

There are server plugins out there for people who want pvp also most mainstream servers will let you kill npcs but not other palyers and many deathmatch servers made just for killing peers
