Everyone says it's "calm" and "relaxing", I say boring! There is no story, not a single word. The parts that look fun will go on auto-pilot so you can watch instead of play. My controller went to sleep during one part. It is too simple to be much of a game. Run around and find some balls to unlock the next area to find more balls. I don't recommend this title at all. Get Ori, or Carrion, or anything else. This is a total snoozefest. I wasn't immersed in it or impressed by anything. The music is high quality, but all depressing. And yes, it has a decent art style, but the gameplay itself is very thin on substance. The majority of my playtime was the game being minimized to do anything else online... I really wanted to "overwhelmingly" like it, but can't see how GRIS has this score unless it's all Reddit trolls. Don't make the same mistake I did. Set a 2 hour timer and if you're not into it by then, get rid of it. It doesn't get better after that. If you value time and money, you'll skip this. The Steam description, "...journey through sorrow is manifested...", is accurate. Not for her, but for you, as there is no story. I will probably try to finish it, I'm nearly at the end, but it's soooo boring I can't do it until I'm more bored than this game makes me.

I didn't enjoy any of it, and I'm into point-n-click puzzle adventures. This is a lot of memorization, tho. That's not super fun.

What a ride, literally. At first I didn't like it, even considered a refund. Glad I didn't. The longer you play, the more powerful, fast, fun, and rewarding the gameplay and story is. You eventually are like Sonic the Monkey swinging and jumping around super fast. You'll want high FPS in many part as the whole thing becomes a blur. The upgrades were all unique and cool to play with. The ending was decent, but still leaves some to the imagination. Give it your 2 hours and you won't refund, finish the game and you'll be giving it a thumbs up, too.

Looking around was stuttering with K/M or controller. Eventually fixed by turning off Bloom and VSync (?!). Anyway, the game is decent, but not good enough to play again, or hunt down the achievements. I was glad it was over.

This isn't half the game the first one was. Prettier, but worse in every other way.

Better than rubbing two nickels together.

Animation is so smooth. Gameplay is fun. Lots of save points to try different approaches to an area. Fun enough to get all the achievements to run around as a tentacle monster a few more minutes.

Solid adventure with a good story. Beautiful graphics, but mouse controls are kinda wonky without "smoothing" turned on. After it was over, I hunted down all the achievements. Wish it were longer.

Bought only for campaign. It feels like a PS3 port. Half of it is pre-rendered video. Combat is janky and twitchy instead of immersive and detailed. I suppose they wanted fast-pace multiplayer but it ruined singleplayer. This is my last Battlefield purchase. If the bald chick on the store page wasn't warning enough, let this be. The campaign is terrible compared any indie game of the same genre.

A $10 Gameboy Color game... Endless random "battles" where you don't fight. Not worth $0.99, let alone $9.99!
