I have been playing Destiny 2 since launch so I have over 1,5k hours on this game.
I have watched it get better as a game and go through some really rough patches..
I go through phases where I hate the game and then love it.
Being in a clan and having friends to play with really helps.
Its quite a difficult game to get into and some of the grinds are really off putting at first.
But if you put enough time and effort into the game you can come out with some really good memories.
I look forward to seeing this game get better.

Do I recommend. Yes, but it isn't the game for everyone.

Ps: Bring back SRL already Bungo!

Update 16/08/2020: This year has been a drag and a half. Boring content with average rewards. Half baked trials and a huge amount of bugs. Content locked behind eververse and content removed at the end of seasons. Next year looks exciting and im hoping this was a learning year for Bungie and I look forward to the future.

Beyond Light Update: Its been pretty cool so far. The raid is awesome and has great loot. The new perks are actually decent. Stasis is great in PVE but broken in PVP.

Pre 30th Anniversary: 1.5k hours on steam now. Taking a break atm waiting for the next update. The 6 month long season is rough. My opinion on the game hasn't really changed. I consider it one of my all time favourite games. But I also complain about it nonstop.
Would I tell someone to start playing it now? No... Maybe... No.. I'm not sure. Maybe only if you have someone to get through New Light with. The game is a mess and I wish Bungie would patch and update the game more often. Waiting 3 months for a broken gun/ability to be nerfed is really off putting and bad for the game.
