about me:
turkish gamer with a soft spot for strategy and rpgs—because who doesn’t love outsmarting npcs and occasionally real people? when i’m not busy conquering virtual worlds, i’m diving into psychology (freud, lacan—real lighthearted stuff), turkish and russian literature, and the endlessly cheerful history of the late ottoman era.

i watch art films, listen to rock and metal, and worship at the altars of j.r.r. tolkien and george r.r. martin—because apparently, i like my fantasy long-winded and full of existential dread. also, i read and write in turkish, english, and russian—because one alphabet just wasn’t enough. occasionally, i even attempt writing, mostly for my own suffering.

want to talk, debate, or game? step right up—i promise to only be moderately insufferable
Review Showcase
the god of war series has been my one and only gaming obsession since childhood. my passion for it runs so deep that i bought a playstation just to experience these games. this latest entry not only lives up to the series’ legacy but elevates it. i’ll keep this brief, but i need to gush about what stood out to me.

compared to god of war (2018), this sequel is a monumental leap forward. the 2018 story never fully gripped me. i barely remembered the bosses i fought, let alone their names. the norse mythology framework felt underbaked, or maybe i just couldn’t connect. but ragnarök flipped the script entirely. the storytelling is sharper, the characters resonate on a deeper level, and atreus’ coming-of-age arc enriches both the narrative and gameplay in ways i didn’t expect.

gameplay-wise, the improvements over the previous entry are substantial. the leviathan axe starts simple but grows into a versatile powerhouse with upgrades and runic attacks. the blades of chaos follow suit, evolving into something even more devastating. by the mid-game, you unlock a new weapon (a series tradition) that reinvigorates combat entirely. what’s brilliant is how the game pushes you to experiment with weapon combos to solve puzzles and dominate battles, keeping every encounter fresh. and honestly, the story matches the gameplay’s brilliance step for step.

on the technical side, the game is a marvel. the visuals are jaw-dropping, with environments packed with intricate details and lighting that breathes life into every realm. performance stays rock-solid, even in chaotic battles, and the seamless transitions between cutscenes and gameplay keep you glued to the screen.

the soundtrack? pure magic, as always. the valhalla dlc hit especially hard. its music and themes felt like a nostalgic gut-punch, weaving callbacks to the series’ roots. for longtime fans like me, it’s an emotional crescendo that tightens your bond to kratos’ journey.

in short, ragnarök outshines its predecessor. if you loved the first game, this is a must-play. and if the 2018 reboot didn’t click for you? give this a shot. the refined storytelling and gameplay might just convert you.

Tired of Boring Steam Groups?
Join Re Turquie Kémaliste

Let’s be real—most Steam groups are as dead as that one NPC who can’t stop walking into walls. But not us. We’re the new blood in town, and we’re here to shake things up. Welcome to Re Turquie Kemaliste—a fresh gaming group where we actually do stuff, like real game reviews and news. Crazy concept, right?

Why join?

• Because reading fake, copy-paste reviews is getting old. We keep it real.
• You'll actually hear about gaming news before it becomes ancient history.
• We're growing fast like that boss you didn’t prepare for.
• Other groups? They're still arguing about what the "best game of 2012" was. We're focused on what's next.
• Oh, and if you think you’ve got what it takes to write reviews, we’re open to letting you in on the action. • Bring your hot takes, your salty opinions, and your love for gaming. We’ll take it all.

And don’t forget to follow our Curator Page. Unlike other curators who recommend the same three games on repeat, we actually have taste.

So, what are you waiting for? Join now and be part of the rebellion. Or stay in your old, dusty group—no judgment (okay, maybe a little).
