@jupe, thanks, some of my Ori wallpapers are done in 3440x1440 (which is what I presume you are referring to) but I have done some of them in 4k (3840x2160), that is the highest res I have available to video capture. If you're talking in regards to bit rate in the video, I generally recorded at around 10Kbps, any higher and the video files would just get too bloated and IMO was not worth the trade off for quality.

@DTAQ: Hopefully I will have more wallpapers in the future on CP2077, once they patch it way more and add some more content. A potentially great game but needs way more work from the devs. I'm now on 4K res so all my wallpapers from now on will be that res.

Thanks for the info and encouragement. Currently looks like the biggest challenge will be rendering and recording in a different resolution and aspect ration (I'm on standard 16:9 2560x1440).

@TNR: Thanks, glad you enjoy my work. I use OBS free for my recording but there are several programs out there that can capture game clips. I suggest also doing a google for a tutorial on how to capture video game clips, just to give you some ideas and hints. Good luck.

Hey Soya. You do fantastic work! I was just wondering - and sorry if you've already answered this question a dozen times - what do you use for doing your recordings? I'm wanting to record some more Alien Isolation wallpapers to supplement the ones of yours I'm already using, and I'd love to try and match them as best as I can.

@LesserEvil2: Thank you for your kind words. Glad you appreciate the file sizes, it is something I always try to take into account when creating video wallpapers. I realised early on that video wallpaper file sizes can easily get very large due the high quality recording at high resolutions, so I always try to keep the file size to a respectable minimum whenever I can.

Thanks but if you're able to record clean video clips yourself (just record carefully from start to end point), you may as well post them as your video wallpaper (its easy but a bit time consuming) cause that.what I would do and it wouldn't be right for me to post all the work you'd be doing. I don't ever edit my clips with a video editor for the simply reason I cannot find a decent 'free' video editor that goes beyond 1080p. The ones that can are expensive and I can't justify the money to spend on it, certainly not now that I'm without a job since the pandemic (plus it would take up even more of my spare time and I'm pretty busy with trying to stay afloat). Let me know if you put some wallpaper up, keen to see what you come up with. Good luck.

@PrimePikachu: Thanks and I concur regarding HUD and having the weapon in view (although near invisible while using a skill but you can still see the outline). At the time I could not find a way to remove either of them. If you have a method/mods to remove HUD and weapon view, let me know if you can. If I find the spare time, will do some re-recording of the game clips.
