reading the reviews of this game is really funny
some people have no clue how maniaplanet works

while it used to be good due to the variety and quality (and insanity) of the unofficial mods available, the new update breaks every single one of them, and makes the game basically unplayable if you want anything more than the base experience.
i cant reccomend this wonderful game until this is addressed, or the situation improves.

please devs, add a beta branch to be able to access the old version of the game

Campaign:
If you're looking for fun and engaging gameplay, look somewhere else. The gameplay in the campaign is, like any other cod game, stale, repetitive, and sometimes frustrating.
However, the gameplay isn't what kept me playing until the end of the campaign, it was the story.
What felt confusing at first, became one of the best plot twists I've seen in a game to date, and I played to completion just to see what the ending was (i won't spoil it, i recommend you find out for yourself).
Although the gameplay and graphics have not aged well, it's still worth a shot if you're wanting a well-written, dark story.

Multiplayer/Zombies:
First thing I'll say about multiplayer is DON'T PLAY MULTIPLAYER (on an unmodified game client).
The game is riddled with malware exploits in multiplayer, you'll need to download 3rd party software like plutonium in order to play it safely.
When you play multiplayer safely, its generally a great experience and I will be playing it again, along with zombies.

Overall the game is a 7.5/10 for me, as my first experience of a COD game.
