What is Unreal Gold?

Unreal Gold contains the base game Unreal and it's DLC "Return to Na Pali"

This game is a sci-fi First person shooter with some horror and mythologic touches

You are a prisoner in a star ship that crashes into a lost planet, you escape the prison and you have to survive and overcome the dangers of this new world

From Starships and Energy Centrals to Lost Temples and Castles, this game mixes future and medieval environments.

One of the most noticeable points of this game are the inspirations and references to other franchises like Alien, Predator, Star Wars, Quake and Doom.
This isnt the average shooter game, it has amazing atmosphere, amazing graphics (for 1998), good mechanics, fun weapons, a very agressive and smart AI and a good lore.

Sadly, the Online Multiplayer is dead (obviously) but it's campaign stills being enjoyable nowadays

a must have for FPS/sci-fi fans

There is still an active online community, the majority of players play co-op though there are few players playing during awkward times like weekdays, etc.
