Patch notes are the most frightening enemy in the game

Some of the most fun I've had in a sandbox style game in a while. The graphics, especially in the rain are right up my alley of awesome and the controls were solid for both M+KB or 360 Controller. The included DLC was very fun as well, especially the horror campaign(I was laughing out loud the entire time.) Great customization and combat too, and even an unlockable Chauffeur to bring you a car. The game also ran very well, only had one CTD and restarting and running through it again really fast fixed it. Solid performance with only a handful of areas that caused frame drops. Worth a play for anyone who is a fan of Kung-fu and sand box games, and possibly even for those who aren't big Kung-fu or Sandbox game players.

Buy it. The game is incredibly solid with very tight and responsive platforming controls(once you get accustomed to cool downs on skills and some not so obvious barriers to jumping. For example you can only jump off a ladder or rope when there is nothing behind or above you and there are some not at first obvious platforms you can't walk through).
The game is a rogue like with some good difficulty behind it. The faster you are the easier the game, take to long and it gets unforgivingly brutal. Too hard for you? Bring a friend, the co-op works great, is easy to set up, and is highly enjoyable.

I'd say worth it at full price, and I'd also say more than worth it at any sale price.

I do recommend this game, however, if you aren't incredibly invested in this genre. Do not buy it until at least beta phase 2 if not full release. Beta phase one is very buggy, unoptimized, and has rapid and constant changes that may make the game feel worse than it is to the average player.

That being said. I have been waiting on edge for the release of the beta, and now that its here it is shaping up to be everything and more that I wanted. For those looking for an endless 2D action block crafting game, this is most assuredly it.

Hard as ♥♥♥♥, but incredibly rich environments, incredible graphics for the art style, and perfectly tight controls make this a hard to pass up platformer.

Good game. Difficulty doesn't seem to scale, instead it just jumps around.. Serious screen tearing issue without VSync and Vsync option in game doesn't work. Unplayable unless you force Vsync in your GPU driver settings outside of the game.
