Goated game, but currently crashes frequently and needs a mod to crash a bit less.

This game is great. The setting and cast of characters are refreshingly spun vibrant takes on classic tropes. Well-written dialogue, plenty of different paths and hidden twists to experience. Good for replay for a story-focused game. The amount of choices has been really engaging and immersive, and Your choices help shape everything from who your character is to your friend's lives and the fate of your colony.

My only criticism is that there is a lot of allure to try so many new activities, but spreading out your progress between your skills too terribly much is discouraged as it might limit you later. There are 12 skills (4, physical, 4 mental, 4 social), which is otherwise really cool, but often you will encounter an event/dialogue option with a skill score requirement.

I suggest saving your game often, as your decisions, big and small, will sometimes matter a lot, and there are bonuses to be earned for making the right calls in events and in challenges. Challenges take the form of a fun card game in which you use your characters memories as cards, with opportunities to collect different memory cards throughout your story based on your decisions. Memory cards can be cut from your memory deck through forgetting them during certain activities, so your character ends up forgetting a lot of their earlier memories as most of us do.

I closed beta'd for Marvel Snap. It was pretty flawless then and has only improved. No pay to win here. You earn your way and it's a lot of fun doing it, but you can get cool stuff if you feel like investing in the game a bit.

The minimum requirements are a lie and by the time you realize it, Steam will refuse to give you a refund. The game and Steam are ripoffs. Never getting one more dollar from me.

The best game I've played this year. Involved story, badass action, meaningful decisions.... As you may know, the cast is an intriguing set of characters taken strait from the "Fables" series of graphic novels, which are also really good. If you liked the Walking Dead game, also by Telltale, then you will not want to miss this. While the game is not base on a popular television show, I feel as though they stepped up their game yet another notch for this one in nearly every aspect of the gameplay experience. I recommend that you turn out the lights when you play to assist in emmersion, not that you will need to in order to feel the part. I was still stuck in the persona of Bigby Wolf for a day and a half after completing the game (Episodes 1-4 of it anyway).

I thought character creation for this game was supposed to be good. It is far from it, offering it's free-to-play players next to no options for their character's appearance. The character builder is as far as I made it, so I can't speak to the rest of the game.

While Skyrim's character interaction feels as flat as ever, the fighting is a large improvement over previous Elder Scrolls games. As an open world RPG is is quite the accomplishment, as well, with hundreds of hours worth of exploration and dungeon delving available. Enough to satisfy your average gamer.

Surprisingly good for a game that has gone free-to-play. The shift to mini-transactions seems to have left the game pretty playable as well. There are some fairly bad bugs, but so far they all have ways to work around them, from what I've seen.
