Early Access Review
The game doesn't have any indicators as to whether or not you are downloading or loading anything. You will struggle to get on to servers, struggle to load maps, and struggle to download and load mods. You will most likely have to press Alt+F4 and relaunch the game numerous times in your attempts to enter a server because the connection process will lock up, and you can't simply cancel and try again. Mods in this game appear to be several hundred MB large, up to 1 GB, which should be obvious as to why is an issue to anyone capable of producing a thought.

The graphics used for menus and HUD are tragically simplistic, and completely fails at the simplest task of indicating how you should proceed in the game. Their font of choice looks like Comic Sans and Times New Roman had a miscarriage. Are you new to the game? Good luck figuring out that it is the sunlight that is killing you. Good luck figuring out how to apply skills. Good luck figuring out what skills to choose, as few to no skills have any relevant information attached, if any information at all. Good luck figuring out how to acquire water, not just from what source in the game, but how you actually collect water. Good luck figuring out how to light a campfire. Good luck figuring out how to cook. The list continues indefinitely. It's dreadful to think that somebody actually thought this was ready to be an early access product. As a web-, graphic-, and level designer, and a software engineer, I'm at an absolute loss for words. I did not think it was possible to produce something like this in 2019.

If you're lucky enough to enter the server to test it out, two things, part from what I previously mentioned, will become apparent. 1.) Their guide prevents you from playing the game. Closing the guide prevents you from playing the game, and closing the guide prevents you from reopening the guide. 2.) The graphics is either too high, or too low. There's no in between. I have a GTX 960 GPU, which I know is outdated, but it can run all computer games in existence at maximum settings just fine. Many of these games look much better than Atlas. In Atlas, however, well, I'm not even going to bother explaining this. I think you know what I mean--- it's not been optimized even in the slightest is what I'm saying.

There's just way too many things to list. Don't listen to your friends when they tell you to throw money on this. Your friends can play another game, a more polished game, with you instead.
