This is where the series ended for me and many others. A fitting conclusion to a trilogy that was once a monolithic pop-culture and gaming icon. Comparing this monument of gaming history, to now where the military sci-fi themes of hope and fighting against all odds have devolved into yet another Marvel-like, corporate cape-♥♥♥♥ story is jarring and honestly disrespectful to such a legendary title. However, titles such as Halo will be kept on life support forever as the corporate belief of exploiting a built-in fanbase is too profitable to ever lay to rest.

As it stands today, there are few ways to enjoy games like one did in the late 2000s and early 2010s. However, Halo 3 MCC does an excellent job of delivering a similar experience to its players, and I highly suggest taking part in such a symbol of gaming's greatest golden age.
