most of the EULA is basically the same. only thing that people get wrong is mods being bannable offense and it requiring crazy amount of data.. however all of the EULA is like i said same.. they only changed some words and some of the info. i only commented on your profile since i saw your comment on a review thinking about wishlisting the game.

In all fairness I don't really tend towards playing mainstream games. If I do I tend to evade EULA unless it's something I necessarily wanna use workshop compatibility with. I'm not multiplayer capable rn so not doing all that is easy for me.

Another reason I'd avoid Civ V with its new EULA is just because I don't want something that's gonna not wanna work if my connection goes faulty.

fake account my ass.. lmao. mods are only bannable offense in MULTIPLAYER you fool. every mainstream game you play is basically spyware. AND no im not promoting it. i would never promote mainstream bs

Fascinating. I honestly didn't want wrapped up in this conversation, I just wanted to thank a guy for telling me Civ V was spyware'd lol.

Does make me wonder what a fake account would be doing promoting it though.

The account known as """"s harvest demoknight""" appears to be a FAKE account. Therefore there recommendation is null and void, and thus not relevant.

Side note - While things such as using a virtual machine are rare occurrences (presumably), some others are standard information collection, such as credit card info, which is automatically given if using in-game purchases, and only a certain few things are of concern; Namely making the use of certain mods a bannable offense. :D :D

buy civ v. all the negative reviews are just review bombed that misunderstood the eula changes smh. the EULA was always like this.
