Before I get into my comments on Journey, watch to the end of credits to see who you travelled with along the way. You're welcome ;)

On to the game.

First, know that Journey is a short walking sim, with the ability to be random co-op. It's not a puzzle game, or an action game. It is about exploring, learning, discovering the story of an ancient people through story board and history lessons. How you interpret that story is up to you, you will not be told. Game of the Year in 2012, Grammy Nominated sound track. That's speaks for itself.

It's emotional if it hits the right cords with you. With a fellow traveller, it's even more so. It is uplifting and joyful, playful and sad.; carefully crafted by TGC to build a whole spectrum of emotions at every stage of the game.

Journey has impacted the lives of so many people, has helped families through grief and times of loss, sadness and depression. It's not a game, it's an artful experience that crosses all borders, excludes no one, embraces every colour, creed and culture. There is no "me" or "them" or any way to be negative to others. That is the power of Journey. And I LOVE it, always will.

Don't think that you've experienced the game with one run. Or two. Or three. Every time you meet a random player, it's a new game (I hesitate to use that word, but can say "experience" only so many times). Get good at flying, be curious and you will discover a whole other world outside game bounds with endless hours of exploration, seeing breathtaking views and wonderous sights. Learn to glitch the game is so many ways I can't even begin to list them. And new glitches, flying techniques, and sights are still being found 8 yrs later.

So do yourself a favour, do a fellow traveller a favour, buy the game, let yourself enjoy this stunning world. And relax. 10/10
