Thunder Wolves | 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑 3.5 | A enjoyable slice of an arcade shooting.

Apparently I've had this game in my library for years but it popped up as a suggestion on my Steam Deck and thought I'd give it a whirl. It's game play is reminiscent of many arcade games from the ps2/early 360 era where in each mission you basically go and shoot everything causing mass destruction. While there is a thin story and a small set of characters throughout, it doesn't take itself too seriously, focusing on cheesy late 80's one liners and banter. This does however tend to fit the setting perfectly. Throw in a couple of secrets and unlockable choppers and you have an entertaining neat little package. That said, Thunder Wolves will be instantly forgettable due to its short campaign but I can't deny I thoroughly enjoyed the small time I had with it.
