Great game for those who have already played every game like The Witness and Antichamber, but want more of open world puzzles with secrets.
Clearly this game has been developed with a lot of care and effort. I'm looking forward for everything it has in store, will update review after playing more.

Very interesting design, enemies are quite different, not only in appearance but in their dynamics too. The variety of enemies really makes you use your whole arsenal.

And the spells are radically different from each other, there is quite a lot of exploration in finding the little intricacies of them, how they work, which enemies are dealt with which spell better.
After failing a run your hands are itching to start again.

My only gripe is sometimes you die from something you haven't even seen, in such moments it feels a bit unfair. Not sure how it can be solved in such game.

True hidden gem. A great addition to other information / rule-discovery games like Anti-chamber, Outer Wilds, Tunic and others.
Great music and a very good progression guidance, I never feel truly stuck cause there are always things to do and discover.
A lot of moments where you go "ahaaaaaaaaaaaa" and "this was here the whole time"

Can't recommend this enough to anyone who likes knowledge-based / secret mechanics games!

Interesting tactics game. Despite first glance similarity it plays quite differently to Into the Breach. This one has more focus on level traversal and improvisation. It has unique system where you find ingredients that both serve as upgrades for your character, but you can use some combinations of them to craft additional units instead.

The art style is nice, I like that characters play quite differently. Feel a bit punishing, but probably need to play more in order to get better at it.

If Into the Breach was too puzzly for you, you may like Staying Fresh more.

Extremely deep and satisfying synergies. While you are advancing through levels, new things are introduced, so it always feels fresh. There are twists and turns.
Haven't tried second character yet, but even from what i've played I can say that it's a great addition to autobattler/deckbuilder roguelite genre

My expectations were high but still they've been surpassed. A perfect sequel to the first game.

Don't look at my playtime, I've played a ton of hours on Itch.

This is a true hidden gem. Tactics battles of Into the Breach + unique mini games and unusual subversion of game tropes of Undertale. Interesting story, unique characters with their own abilities and mini games.
You get a lot for such a low price.

Great hack & slash roguelite. The feedback from the hits is so satisfying. The visual style is great and quite unique.
I like how varied the attacks are, there are melee combos and ranged attacks that feel different and do different things. The variety of enemies is good as well, the designs are interesting, and they differ mechanically.

And upgrades - the most important aspect of a rougelite are done very well.
Almost all of them greatly affect and change how things are, instead of +2 % to crit they are like "every time you jump there is an attack on the ground" or "at the end of every combo you shout a projectile at the enemy"
When you add different status effects to this (that stack) after few floors you become a killing machine just jolting around the level doing 10 attacks in a second.
But what makes it interesting is that enemies scale according to this as well. So it's not easy, it's the only way to survive.

My only complaint is that I think it has a way to go in terms of tutorial/telegraphing about it's stamina/poise system or whatever that is. I played quite a while, and I'm still quite confused about how it works.

Great rule discovery game that does not overstay its welcome. End-game is genius

The core mechanic of the game is intrinsically fun, the fact that attack and movement is tightly connected leads to a lot of interesting tactical decisions during the fight. There are different types of weapons that drastically change how you play because of different patterns of attacks/movement.

The game requires a bit of polish - like some kind of onboarding and tighter progression of waves, but otherwise its core ideas are quite fun and have a lot of potential to be really great. I'll be following this one closely.
