Review bombing aside, OK it's actually decent.
$25 for 3 unique play style legendary lords is alright.

Changeling is the most unique lord ever to be added to game and his campaign changes how you play the game in every aspect.

Odyssey was better.

It's literally just The Forest, but 10x better in every aspect.

Also- you get to drive vehicles in this game, which can include an Electric Scooter and a Golf cart.

It is fun, not for me though. Requires a lot of space in your room for dodging the bullet hell and is not sitdown friendly
Found reloading to be very janky but maybe that was just me.

Update 0.7.0 was an update meant to revive the game but it's too far gone. Doesn't matter how well they improved the classes, the game is an unoptomized mess with horrible networking and outdated code recycled from other Offworld games. They have missed their opportunity and Helldivers 2 has taken what little playerbase this game had left. I genuinely want to like this game and maybe one day somehow this game will be fixed.

Got pretty repetitive and boring after 30 minutes. Great concept though, ingredients give you a set "path" along a physical map and you navigate your way to different recipes through that map. Unfortunately, the steps inbetween were just really slow and it takes too long.

When the less expensive DLC has more in-game content then the deluxe edition

Can be a bit grindy and it's a bit hard to find a full lobby so unless you have friends or you feel like sitting and waiting for randoms to join for possibly 20 minutes then you will need to play solo.
The list of weapons is really small and the modifications are limited.
Found the gameplay to be fun though and the friendly AI isn't too bad.

I do not recommend the game at full price however. $40 for this is pretty crazy, instead wait for a sale. It was $15 for the winter sale.

Edit: Looks like they dropped the retail price to $29.99 at the beginning of February, but I still advise waiting for a sale. Price of the game tends to drop to between $14-$20 USD :)
