Updated review since 2015:
This game is a 5-6 player PvE only game built as a Counter Strike Source mod. You play at 5 classes that all have mostly different playstyles. Most maps are built around either going through a map, planting a bomb, then backtracking all the way back, or simply surviving for as long as you can.
The AI and hitboxes are WAY better then they were when I played this game back in 2015 and I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed it. Overall I enjoy the gameplay of this game It's almost nostalgic to when I used to play Zombie Escape in Counter Strike Source.

A year and a half ago, If you would have asked me if Dirty Bomb was good, I would have spat in your face and said not at all.

...But after a year and half I've been told that Dirty Bomb has changed a lot and pretty good now.
I gave the game a second try, and here's what I have to say.

Pros:
- NOT a Pay to win. Players can buy mercs with in-game currency, in-game currency can be earned by doing daily missions and other stuff. Everything you can buy with real money is either completely optional or just cosmetic.
- Very fun fast paced chaotic gameplay... with one exception
- Loadout cards are easily obtainable, any loadout card above bronze is 100% cosmetic.
- Diverse mercs for lots of different playstyles.
- Phantom
- Shotguns are overpowered as ♥♥♥♥. I've been 2 shot killed by a shotgun wielding Aura from like 10 yards away

Pro & Con:
- Like every other community, people can either be really nice in this game, or really toxic
- Huge learning curve when it comes to parkour and combat
- Unlike most shooters, this game actually has good hipfire, and aiming down sights is actually bad in close quarters

Cons:
- Maps are very unbalanced. Payload maps especially and can really favor one side more then another
- Sometimes medic mercs are extremely abused for their self healing and can wipe entire rooms clean if they're skilled, fighting these people are just the most painful thing ever.
- I always get matched against players who are level 50-200, making it really unfun for me because I'm still learning
- VERY little maps. The game has been out believe 2-3 years and there's only 6 maps, a 7th coming soon.
- Iffy matchmaking, I rarely ever get put into US servers.
- Horribly slow progression, As soon as you get to level 8 you'll hardly notice the progression bar moving.
- There is no party system for quickplay games, so if you want to play this game with friends then too bad.

As I continue playing Dirty Bomb I will keep editting this review, as of now, this is it.

A Fun little time waster - Though this is just a cookie clicker clone that was ported onto Steam I guess it's good. I'm not gonna get into this game like most people have with like 30 hours. I'll probably only play this when I am bored. Also the music is annoying to listen to
