It's Viscera Cleanup but with a story. The gore is very underwhelming for what I was expecting but its still enjoyable.
There is talk amonst people saying the VA's are AI, they are not. President Studios uses a lot of the same voice actors, they're not amazing but I recognize most of them from different titles of theirs.

The ghost recon series is the only decent ubisoft franchise left.

Half-Life and Project Zomboid have made one hell of a mutant child with this game.

You are basically a scientist in Half Life 1. Survive, build a cool base out of office supplies, escape to the surface to be shot at by the offbrand Half Life HECU- "The Order"
The alien race you fight is literally just Race X from Half-Life: Opposing Force and are even called "X'ers" or "Exors"

My only issue with the game is that there really should be client-side loot pools. Playing with multiple people can be chaotic with materials and keeping everyone fed.

Too grindy and too difficult.
The dreadnaught in this game is cancer and shouldn't be the first mission you do.

If you like XCOM 2 you'll like this game. The game has all the same mechanics as XCOM 2 with warhammer 40k tabletop rules. The game crashes on startup a lot and the voice acting for the main characters has a lot to be desired.
For a game from 2022 this game also has some pretty weak graphics, I feel like this was at one point meant to be a mobile game.

I recommend this game only if its only sale. I got it -80% off

The game is on track to becoming great again as the devs begin to realize that maybe nerfing weapons that are fun isn't such a great idea. There are still many balance issues from most boosters being useless or a complete hindrance to many armor passives being useless over others.

Helldivers 2 is at it's peak right now and I definitely recommend it.

This is the weird incestuous mutant child made between battlefield and squad and developed in roblox.

My only problem with the game so far is you can't select the mode you want to play unless you go to a community server which is less new player friendly.

Highly recommend on sale. Had more fun with this game in the first 3 hours then I did for the entirety of Borderlands 3.
Not on sale, I'd say hold off on buying it.

Best way I could describe it is if you're looking for a true borderlands game you'll definitely be disappointed. This is NOT a standalone borderlands game. However if you're new to borderlands or someone who just wants to consume more borderlands content that isn't quite borderlands this is great.
