Game has a lot of potential but it's lacking in good customization right now. The customization is very limited at the moment, far from what was shown in the trailers.

Changed to recommend as the devs finally fixed most of the issues.

The game reminds me a lot of They Are Billions but toned down a bit. Hope to see more content and features.

Played it on Origin Access a year ago, couldn't find any full lobbies and wasn't impressed.
Picked it up today in hopes that the game might've gotten a player boost and I could finally find some lobbies without a 5 minute queue to get into a half filled lobby or one without hackers, nope. It's a shame really, this game looks gorgeous.

$6 for 5 new weapons is a pretty decent deal. MOST of the weapons are really good - Sadly Kruber kinda got cucked in this DLC though. All the other 4 heroes get a cool unique weapon with it's own gimmick and Kruber just gets a reskin of a weapon Kerillian had.

The people complaining about this are a bunch of whiney little babies. This is literally a free update and it's really fun, 10x more fun then Winds of Magic ever was. A very fun endgame mode for those who don't have really anything else to do in the main progression of the game.

The gameplay loop goes like this
-You pick your hero and the 2 weapons you want to go into the levels with
-You don't keep any trinkets or traits, all your weapons are defaulted to 250 Common weapons
-Throughout the levels you upgrade your weapons and get traits through Pilgrim coins which you find in the levels and by killing bosses (which you will be doing a lot)
-Each level gives you a random bonus trait for completing it (i/e +20% health, +60% block reduction etc)
-Levels have a chance to have random modifiers like the Weekly Event's that you are used to.
-You can spend your points periodically at a 3 different shrines on the expedition map that give you huge bonuses for pilgrim coins. These can range from normal traits, huge buffs for your whole team, and risk/reward challenges.
-At the end of the expedition (apart from the final mission) you fight a final horde + boss rush in a small arena map.
-All your traits and weapon upgrades are reset but you keep a small percentage of the coins you had to carry into your next expedition.
-Upon completing an expedition you get 2 free emperor boxes + the box you get from the endscreen.
