Game has a lot of potential but at the moment its very shallow there really just isn't a lot of fun things to do. There is no real moral dilemma you basically HAVE to play dirty cop if you want to be able to afford anything for yourself, all side quests are usually just get illegal items for prisoners. Even the main quest will force you to play dirty cop.
The game needs a deeper progression system and more content.

Headgear is all ♥♥♥♥ and the default armor is better then the ones you get in this. You're only getting this for the red skins.

The new beastmen are basically what the Warriors of Chaos should have been. Probably the best Horde faction in the game.

oh and chameleon skinks are pretty cool too I guess.

Fix toxicity in multiplayer and add a server browser and this game would be on it's way to being great.

Solo play is fun for the first 3 missions until you get to the big complex maps where your AI teammates struggle to do anything because every room has an ambush or an enemy always flanking your AI and killing them.

Multiplayer is unplayable 99% of matches I've ever joined in Ready or Not over the course of Alpha to Early Access to Full Release have always been either a votekick immediately upon joining or a teamkill the moment the match starts.

So why not play with friends? Good luck convincing 3 other friends to buy this $50 game.


This is not a successor to SWAT 4. In Ready or Not the game tricks you into thinking this is gonna be a realistic shooter but in reality the enemy AI acts like CS:GO bots that will laser you down the moment they see you and it forces the player to treat the game like you're playing Rainbow 6 Siege. AI needs to be tweaked so that they actually start acting like scared gangsters and robbers and less like a bunch of armed to the teeth militants. Granted, there are levels that fit the aesthetic of you fighting against more well trained groups, but for most levels the AI should not be so insanely well trained.

Lots of potential to be great. It's basically Foxhole meets SWAT.
At the moment the game needs lots of work, tbh it feels like an early access game. I really hope the devs work on it.
The controls and the online coop are the top two things that need improvement right now, the controls are really awkward and clunky and half the time microphones don't work in coop.

Overall, if this was early access I would support it, but since this is a completed title I can't.

They should have kept this game in Early Access longer like they did for the original game. This is a buggy unplayable disaster where every bit of terrain can get you stuck and softlocked...

I waited two years for firefight and it released a completely unfinished and unbalanced mess.
Everyone said the game was better now they fixed it but they still have the same godawful battle pass.

The battlepass prays on FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and makes you fork up cash so that you can actually complete it within a reasonable timeframe. I regret giving 343 a single cent when I bought the campaign.

Personally I was hoping for a more open world experience where you could explore and find ships instead of having to "book" them but I guess this is more realistic. The gameplay is about what you'd expect, it's an addicting slow paced chill game where you just break down ships and sell parts to progress, buy better tools etc. Nothing too special but still fun.

I honestly play the game just for the fun stories, characters and gameplay. PvP is optional and I love that. This game will always have a place in my heart.
