'Skibidi Toilet Hero' was a surprise addition to my games library today, and one that has proved to me again why I love video games as a genre.

The game's premise, inspired by the series 'Skibidi Toilet' created by Alexy "DaFuq!?Boom!" Gerasimov, is an inspirational tale where you take the role of the last Cameraman fighting against the viscous army of Skibidi toilets. While still very much inspired by the series, developer 'Skibidi Toilet Games' puts a unique spin on the setting really making you feel like you are immersed in this dreadful world. The claustrophobic towering buildings surrounding you on each side, the dark underground, the wide open field, all swarming with Skibidi toilets adding to the extreme sense of dread the protagonist Cameraman is facing. The artistic vision "Skibidi Toilet Games' had is striking and really builds such a believable and beautiful world in its own twisted way.

'Skibidi Toilet Hero''s combat takes notes from the 'ULTRAKILL' game and for good reason, the high octane shooting with 3 diverse weapons in your loadout leads to a satisfying and tense gameplay loop. You attack swarms of Skibidi toilets that ramp up in classes as the adventure progresses. First with basic ground enemy's which then gain sniper rifles, onto flying Skibidi toilets that dash at you, etc. It's a very balanced and well thought out progression that never feels too easy or unfair but strikes the perfect balance of tough yet overcomeable challenge.

The final boss of 'Saint Toilet' was an unexpected interesting commentary on corruption in mainly Christian religious spaces on which really made me reflect on our society today. It has golden plungers in a 't' shape parodying the cross, and a massive Skibidi toilet at the altar with a halo preaching to the congregation of Skibidi toilets in attendance. The effects of how materialistic corrupt religious spaces can be who preach violent and hateful rhetoric is felt as soon as you enter the church. You're an outcast, someone blindly hated by their teachings, and they all instantly swarm you leaving you almost helpless. Though like in the real world, with determination and great morals, we can hopefully overcome these stains on our world as our protagonist cameraman does.

Conclusion:
'Skibidi Toilet Hero' is a must-play game for anyone who wishes to experience a creative, tense, and introspective game. It seamlessly blends all these themes into a cohesive experience that leaves you blown away come credits roll. I am definetly adding this to my "Shawner's Games of the Year' list and hope this review piques your interest enough to check out the game for yourself.
