After 50 hours of playing this game:

Everything is my personal opinion and if it is not matching with yours, it is what it is:

Story is so so, characters mostly is to pass by and forget about them.
Side quests in the main locations are lacking, who played previous versions know the amount of side quests the you could take.
Gun play is so so as well, many guns are just fill awkward.
Optimization is better, but still if you encounter a lot of NPCs i.e. Boss fight, you will lose 90% of the FPS.
Another point why there is no mechanics to take mutant parts and hunting quest possibilities?
Also, AI, in my opinion, is the same AI from the previous stalkers, nothing fancy, nothing smart. It knows where the player is, can shoot through the bushes from miles, throws grenades like NBA champion.

From everything said, we are playing stalker for the atmosphere, and stalker 2 provides it.
(GSC make it, mod makers finalize it)
Like the locations, mutant and gun design, artefacts and sound is top notch.

right now cannot recommend this game, new ui is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, servers have high ping. Wait till they fix it

UPDATE:
After playing a little bit more longer noticed:
1) Compounds are hard to protect as duo, too many holes, doors and other ways to push into the building. IMO it is too much.
2)Hit registration is awful, I shot a guy straight into chest, no reg. But the dynamite stick thrown at me kills me at 30 meters range through 2 walls
3)Performance is dog$h1t, previously got 150 stable FPS at everything low except texture and object quality(distance at which it renders). Now I have 90-100 unstable with drops and stutters. Not saying about visual artifacts as purple textures over objects. Sometimes, weapons, tools and EVEN HUNTERS are not rendered they are invisible.
4)Small but annoying, charms now single use. That means you cannot put one charm on a single weapon. FOR EVERY WEAPON YOU NOW HAVE TO HAVE SEPARATE CHARM. For me that is a total BS.
5)Servers performance are awful. Lags, ping and packets loss will be with you.

I've played DbD for 70h and I can say that:
1)Survivors so underpowered they are simply toys for the killers, they are slower, weaker, they cannot block killer in any means, despite sucking flashlight. It rather cool to play as survivor with 3 of your friends, nevertheless you will still suck against that all new killers and their abilities.
2)Killers are OP, by OP I mean really OP: they fast as ♥♥♥♥, have their HEX ruin which may 1 shot you at the end, memnto mori, camping and tunneling you at the same time. I played as a killer several times and it was so easy to kill everyone as legion and oni, without any perks they are destroying full stacked survivors.
3)It is not worth to buy this game right now.

For devs if you are reading it:
I am really dissapointed right now about the game, It is not fun to play. Fix killers and their abilities, for example clowns perk that can damage generator by 30% when survivor is hooked, he can do it several time per trial. Survivors need some buffs here and there, may be some personal abilities as killers have to balance this mix somehow. I believe that game may be great again, but now it is greatly on the killers side.
