This game is a hidden gem if the definition of hidden gem was a landmark of gaming history hidden in the guise of an indie game. This game goes above and beyond what I expected and really has the skeleton of something a LOT of people can think back on for being unique and extremely fun.
The leveling system in this game doesn't go by the standard get skill points and add it to a tree. You collect chips that you can combine and upgrade, then install into your character's skill tree however you want. You can be super fast, hit super hard, or a mix of everything.
It's obvious the game takes inspiration from Jet Set Radio. Going so far as to hire the sound designer from that game to make the music for this one (AND IT SHOWS)! If you're into skating games, racing games, parkour games, colorful games, or anything involving speed you are going to LOVE this game.
