Alright, so I deleted my previous review because it didn't offer any true value or give people a good idea of what they're getting into when picking up Terraria. I've owned Terraria on multiple platforms and have been playing the game for almost a decade. If that doesn't speak for itself, let me tell you why Terraria is an amazing game, and should be the game you pick up next if you somehow haven't played this masterpiece.

Terraria is a 2D sandbox style game where you can create your own world and do almost anything, from golfing, battling giant space tentacle monsters and riding unicorns into battle, shooting cats out of a sword, fighting demons, exploring the depths of the psychedelic mushroom biomes, talk to lizard people, get probed by aliens, fight cult members, get invaded by goblins and pirates, and SO much more. The amount of content that Terraria offers for it's price tag is ridiculous, and it feels like the developers are being robbed. So many hours have been spent working on Terraria, and it truly shows when playing. There's a wide variety of bosses throughout the game all with varying difficulties, multiple biomes, and a ridiculous amount of weapons. Terraria doesn't stop there either, with NPC's that can help you along the way, supplying various goods and services. You can build a community with your NPC's and throw parties with them as well! There are thousands of items in Terraria, different plants, building blocks, vanity items, armor sets, weapons, potions furniture, and even musical instruments.

Terraria has four game modes: Regular, Expert, Master, and Journey Mode. At the core, they are all Terraria, but with the Expert and Master modes the difficulty is considerably increased from regular Terraria, and more items are added as well as special awards you only get for fighting expert and master mode bosses. Journey Mode can basically be considered as "creative mode", giving you the ability to duplicate items and change the difficulty at any given time.

Over the past 10 years whenever I'm bored Terraria has always been there to keep me entertained. This game has brought me so much joy and many smiles over the years, and it continues to do so with the 1.4 "Journey's End" update. ReLogic have proven themselves to be skilled, competent developers that have the communities interests in mind. If someone from ReLogic happens to be reading this, Thank you for the impact you've made on my life through Terraria, and I can't wait to see what you guys have in store for the future.
