What an awesome game! Not very far into it, but I've already come across a peepin' tom, blown a guys head clean off with a rifle, and thrown a knocked out goon into a fire. Level design is amazing, with PLENTY of different routes through each level. I adore this art style, and it just looks so bloody good! I got it as a birthday present, but would have happily paid the full price. Hell, it should be worth more. A must buy.

Brutal game, definitely not for everyone. One misstep can spell the end of a mission. I've only played this solo at this stage and it's absolutely not designed for that. You are going to die! A LOT! It's fairly bare bones at the moment, but the content road map has me excited for the future. If you crave a challenge, then this is for you.

The protagonist is insufferable, the supporting characters are one dimensional. The voice acting is atrocious (at points in the game thus far I can actually hear the studio microphones clipping). The combat is fun, but repetitive. Save yourself the money. I got this game for free with my new graphics card.

Shooty gun go brrrrrrrrrrrr!

This game is so cathartic! It's an amazing stress release! No in game music, just the sound of the in game world nature and your power wash gun. Some of the levels are really big and take time to complete, but the satisfaction at the conclusion is amazing. As it's early access there are some issues with walking up and down the ladders and sliding off surfaces for what seems like absolutely no reason, but these issues are small and have no negative impact on my experience. I look forward to all the content that's coming!

What do you get when you mix the Mafia, Zombies and Nazis? You get one of the best side scrolling shoot 'em up platformers ever. Tight and easy controls, great story, slick graphics, awesome soundtrack, awesome characters. It's hard enough to be a challenge, but not too hard as to make you want to throw your mouse through the monitor. I've heard the game can last anywhere between 4-6 hours depending on difficulty level. I have not tried any other game modes besides story mode yet, will edit my review when I do.

Every bodies experience in this game will differ.

Story mode: 8/10. Engaging story mode that's long enough with different endings that gives you a reason to go through it at least 3 times. Deep main characters, but some of the secondary characters seem to be a little one-dimensional. However given the location of the story, that was probably intentional. Controls are fantastic. The only reason this doesn't get a higher score is due to the fact that the developers have done pretty much nothing with the story since release. DLC was planned, but was never released. Massive add-ons to online that leave the single player world feeling a tad empty and shallow. Watching all the different vehicles, clothing, weapons and real estate added just makes the single player no longer worth the effort.

Online: 8/10. Deep and addictive. There is so much to do, that I don't actually think I've tried everything. From running your own meth labs, to running guns, to baking weed and stealing and re-selling high end cars there are heaps of possibilities. However, it all costs money. Lots of money. You're either going to have to grind for countless hours just to build up enough bank to buy a garage, or you're going to have to invest a little bit of real world money to give you that little bit of a boost to finally open that nightclub Tony keeps pestering you about. Payouts for jobs are harsh and you have to grind jobs countless times in order to build up your bank, but when you do the rewards are there. Countless cars with countless customization options to flaunt your wealth. Of course we have to talk about the giant elephants in the room, the modders and griefers.

Modders and griefers will always be a part of this game and it really seems as if Rockstar have stopped caring about it. 9 out of 10 modders won't bother you, in fact some are even there to actually help you. They'll run support from the air while you're delivering you stash of cocaine, all sorts of helpful things. Obviously there are the select few who are there purely to ruin your day. There really isn't anything you can do to stop them, other than going into passive mode, but to be honest, I haven't run into a modder like that in a while so it's been great in the sessions.

Griefing is griefing. No matter what the game type, you're going to come across them. It was much more rampant 2 years ago, but most of them have moved on to other games and for the most part, sessions are great now.

There are countless things I haven't touched on and it would take all day to mention it here. You're just going to have to see for yourself. But even at this stage in the games life, it still is worth it to jump on and join the chaos.

This game is amazing top to bottom. I just finished another playthrough and it hasn't lost any of it's charm. The biggest standout of the game for me personally, would have to be the Old World Blues DLC. The amazing characters and the gut busing conversations you can get into. This is a personal favourite of mine. One I'll always pick up from time to time and re play.

I spend most of my days in a GIMP suit pissing on people. So this game was perfect for me!
