If you're looking for a cozy, chill, basebuilding, low stress survival game in a post apocalypse, this might be the game for you. Personally, I think it's lacking in the challenge department. This game needs some high risk/reward activities to be a proper good game.

I'm giving it a recommend only because I did not have to pay for it. if this was more than $20 I'd feel kinda scammed. I also do believe that if this dev team is passionate about this game, they might be able to take what they already have and make something quite good. It needs better enemy AI and more PVP zones on the PVP servers.

Surprisingly playable on a controller. I guess since the singleplayer is all that's left I'll talk about that. The career mode is good fun, however, the AI drivers are really terrible at following FIA guidelines, so you have to get creative with overtakes.

They might have made this game TOO fun, actually.

The core gameplay loop doesn't change much, but it is so damned good that it doesn't have to. This whole thing is like doom meets rhythm game meets bullet hell and it works very well. My only real complaint is the boss fights reuse the same song. It's a good song, don't get me wrong, but after 4 or 5 levels played in a row it gets a bit stale. Not the worst thing during casual play but I could see it being a problem if I ever decided to speedrun this.

Why did I even buy this? why did I play it for 51 hours? Afghanistan war simulator. I guess it does a good job at that...

Really one of the best puzzle games of all time, I shouldn't have to tell you that.

Discount mario party for weebs, but for some reason the RNG machine loves me and I always win, so I must reccomend this if you are a lucky person. If you have bad luck in life, not your game, maybe try chess or something, IDK.

I wish I could recommend this, but if you already own PTDE, there's virtually no reason to buy this also. The game looks kind of better but still looks very dated in many areas, the graphical improvement was really not enough to warrant taking down the old servers and forcing everyone to pay up to keep playing their favorite game. I can only really tell the difference between the games in lost Izalith or when seeing a fire effect.

The singleplayer campaing is very good. Multiplayer just isn't though. I don't even know if there are still servers (probably not, game is old) but even if there are, last time I played this game it was just at least one hacker in every match totally ruining the experience for everyone else. Shame too because the mutiplayer used to be very good before then, but now it's just always someone flying around the map with an auto shotgun getting kills every second and clipping through walls and ♥♥♥♥ with speed hacks.
