This is a perfectly executed mix of games like Prison Architect, spacebase DF-9 (rip), Cosmoteer and Factorio.
Very addicting and satisfying. I highly recommend it even tho it's still in early access.

Years ago I was watching fail masterclass series from ivsoftware devs (https://youtu.be/sEsy_G08Kbo) where they show their prototype or canceled projects. One of them was deep space industrial - it was my favorite of the bunch. I wished I could play something like this and 4 years later its here! Hell yeah!

Servers have this weird network stuttering. No matter how good your connection is it keeps jittering your character back and forward rendering this highly competitive esport video game unplayable. When you press W there is no confidence where you will end up, its just tiring. No other source engine game I played have this issue.
There is still so many removed features from CS:GO, its just painful how suddenly little this game have to offer.
...also they canceled Classic Offensive mod to protect their casino from dangers like counter strike but playable and fun. ngl I'm pissed.
Do better Valve. If you don't want to develop this game anymore please just outsource it to another studio, use some of your infinite money to save cs I beg you ;-;

Couple years ago when I played through half life 1 (maybe it was opposing force or black mesa) I was destroying some crates and props just to see what is going to drop from them. Sometimes you get something useful to Gordon like ammo but you could also see some random electronics, parts, boxes, food. It was just a particle system, decoration... then I got struck with idea: what if you and your friends could use all of this garbage to help you escape ? Tau cannon was made by fellow scientists from random garbage so what kind of even more insane tools they can make? just melt that locked door with chemicals at hand and escape! As a kid I was watching codename kids next door and the premise was the same - laser guns, spaceships, jetpacks and doomsday weapons made from random garbage at hand.

This game is all of this, you are just a helpless scientists in absolutely enormous underground facility trying to escape, using every resource you can find to make it for the lack of muscle or knowledge how to handle a gun, building hidden fortified bases (they can be anywhere you want just like in Subnautica, put it on a cliff face) and slowly gathering strength through better equipment and skills. I was kind of sceptical of adding SCP-esque stuff to the mix (i would rather prefer simplicity of one alien portal disaster) but it works simply because every containment item/creature is super unique and you can interact with majority of them (if you want it or not), they are not just additional backdrop.

This game is super fun with friends, level design is top notch and very half life 3d labirynthy with unlockable shortcuts everywhere. Updates are very frequent adding new items and entire chapters that take hours to fully explore.

My only gripe is performance. This game is mimicking 1999 HL1 style but runs awfully even with FSR enabled thanks to decision to use unreal engine 5. My GF plays on sub 30fps on decent hardware and it pains me greatly.

This game is incredible, if you still don't know what to play with your friends this is it. Its worth full price so if there is a steam sale this is a no-brainer.

Even tho ubisoft is trying its hardest to kill this game its still quite fun.
After many years of updates that try to transform this title to something different

• by turning interesting chaotic destructible maps full of props (people work/live there) into empty cubes cuz e-sportz
  
• and adding nonsensical sci-fi gadgets (one is just valorant smoke wall lmao)
  
• extreme nerfs (think todays TF2) that outright remove some fun tactics like sticking valkyria cameras on trees outside

the tactical shooter fundamentals from 2016 that makes this title unique and fun are still here.
Insanely satisfying gunplay, building reinforcements, holes, explosives, shields, intel gathering, drone racing game
this adds to making matches super fun and co-op intensive and I cant find it in any other title
I'm super thankful that my friends forced me to play this with them years ago, it helped me a lot getting through rough times.
Also there is now r6 marketplace where you can sell your old garbage for premium currency so that's definitely a plus.
I'm gonna be very sad when ubi finally bankrupts and servers get taken down ;-;
Its worth buying it for 30zł/8$ imo, just wait for the steam sale.

I just figured out why I need fish breeding and why its very efficient when I was in the shower

Unique game where progression is mostly based on your skill.
Everything is falling. Every pixel is simulated. Embrace the chaos and die a lot.

easy anti cheat ? Is this an esport competitive shooter ?
I just want my mods fixing/adding things that should be added years ago.
Snail pace of development does not help.
For example there is a mod that adds subtitles to the media player automatically.
VRChat in their infinite wisdom said go fys instead.

Literally one of the best games I have ever played.

Pass the whiskey!

This is the perfect example of early access done right.
Developers are working hard to regularly add meaningful and polished content while squashing bugs and supporting mods to this day.

Personally my favourite things about Factorio:
◘ Factorio teaches you how to organise and scale up
◘ Your decisions impact environment around you
◘ Strategic map allows you to plan ahead and build using automation
◘ Multiplayer works very well in this version and its breathtaking to see what other players have created
◘ Mods! So many Total Conversion mods and gamemodes, like one where all players spawn far away from each other and have to build roads or train tracks to cooperate or declare war against themselves
◘ Extensive keyboard shortcuts allows you to speedrun the game
◘ Graphics and sprites looks incredible and unique, made in late 90'ies style (reminds me of "3D Ultra Lionel Traintown")
◘ Factorio is a very polished and actually finished at this point (unlike that one epic games store exclusive I refunded)
◘ Unique feeling of satisfaction from what you accomplished
◘ You can launch fish into space
