If you like Rimworld, you'll like this. It just takes a bit of time to get used to and understand but the tutorial helps you out really well.

I hate to review this game at 30 minutes in but I can't take any more of this mobile game hot dumpsterfire. Don't even wait for a sale, it's like if the Zombieland Mobile Game got a PvP Survival spinoff game.

If you like Rust, you might get something out of this. Other than that, you're better off literally playing any other game.

It's a good concept and a really fun game, but it falls off halfway through. The combat is fun until they introduce *certian* enemies that just kill the pacing of the gameplay. Also, the bossfights needed a bit more work, it felt like the Angel bossfight room from Borderlands 2 except you die in one hit if you mess up. Still a fun game, visually nice, story was ok I guess but I just liked being basically Zer0 from Borderlands 2. 6/10, def a good game to buy if its on sale.

It was okay I guess, I feel like this game would've been better back in 2012 or something with all the older style internet humor. But I'd say if you're gonna buy it, wait for a sale.

Its a lot of back and forth, and some of the things that you can accomplish at any point (such as marking the accident area and checking your location) will not be available to complete until you have reached that specific step. The injury steps of course make sense though, but I just wish I didn't have to go back to my car from the scene just to check the gps when I can do that when first arriving to the scene.

God I could play this game for HOURS without getting bored. I cannot wait for it to be a complete game for me to spend another day just playing it to death.

Things I LOVE:
- The open world feeling so I can do WHAT I want WHEN I want
- The combat is simple for anyone to understand
- The upgrades always give me something to work towards
- The creatures concepts are really cool, I can't wait to see more
- The puzzle rooms are challenging and give the best reward, funny blue orb
- The replayability is huge, especially with the perks you can get when you level up

Only a few things I hope they add/fix:
- Difficulties (less health, maybe needing to eat food)
- More campfires in the bottom right of the map
- More Ex-Human variations (even though I do love that they all rock the same pink shirt)
- Make the wishing wells more expensive
- Make the triple-knifes do a bit more damage but spread in a wider cone
- Add voice acting eventually to give the character more personality
- Remove the emojis
- Make the challenge gauntlets a bit more challenging (quests where you fight some mobs for exp)
- Nerf farming (gives sooo much food)

I really can't wait to see this game come out in full

Personally, it's not my kind of game but the potential this has is so great. Not only does it have its own prebuilt story mode, but it allows players to make their own adventures for others to enjoy, its kind of like DnD but the Dungeon Master is automated. Plus, the game gets bonus points for having Charlie (Critikal) in the game. I may not be playing it, but if anyone else is looking to play, I def recommend if you're looking for a simplified version of DnD mixed with XCOM.

This is a good game but NOT IN ITS CURRENT STATE

This game has some issues but it is a pretty decent SOLO GAME. The multiplayer is boring because anyone who is not the host is basically an follower NPC controlled by a player.

Improve the AI: The NPC combat is so scuffed that most of the time in fights, they either don't shoot at all and flee or miss 90% of shots even point blank. Also if an NPC is low on HP, there should be a way to have them flee from the Juggernaut instead of trying to melee attack it. Probably not the smartest thing to do in that situation.

Ferals: I love the concept of ferals, but they just do so much damage. Regular mode ferals with no armor is cool to deal with BUT HEARTLAND MODE FERALS ARE SOMETHING ELSE. Not only do they do plague damage, basically maxing you out with plague in 2 attack cycles, BUT THEY HAVE ARMOR. The whole point of the ferals was kind of to have a glass cannon, in heartland mode they're just broken unless you can just cheese them with a vehicle. Just maybe make them slower or do a tad bit less damage.

Heartland Mode Glitches: Speaking of the heartland mode, either there was very little playtesting of this map or they just released it without really caring. Why are there so many street curbs that act as walls? Instead of my character being able to raise a foot and get up on the ledge, they just spaz out and can't move unless you can get your character to aim they gun and get them off the glitch. We just need to make whatever wall that prevents people from walking onto the sidewalk go away.

Multiplayer: Oh man do I love me a survival esque game with multiplayer, but I guess it is kind of hard with this game isn't it? Considering there's a save state for each individual player. I just wish there was a better way for Player 2 to loot and contribute to quests. It just feels like it's an NPC controlled by a player. But the looting system is kind of scuffed since each player has their own loot they can get, so if theres something I want that is in the other players container, they need to put it in their inventory AND THEN drop it. Maybe just make looted containers public? Also the quests are kind of weird since if you need to give an item to an NPC for a quest, you cannot help out and have to go through the terrible "take off the sack" animation (which makes sense) but I just wish it just took my item and then gave the reward to the main player or something.

Vehicles: Let me flip my car even if it's not upside down please. I know it is my fault I like to take dumb routes and get my car stuck between a trailer and a wall and can't reverse or drive out of the spot but PLEASE just have it so like when you're crouching and press e on a car it flips or something. Either that or have it be a trait where people can push cars or something?

Bigger Bases: I just want a bigger base OR a customizable base where you can spend resources/money to turn smaller slots into big slots OR build/destroy roofing that may be over that slot. I'm sure it will be harder with pre-build locations but maybe just have like a ultra customizable home on one map that starts off as nothing and you can build what you want?

This game is good, don't get me wrong but it just needs some fine tuning. I would not recommend buying it now but maybe in the future if they just kind of fix some of the issues. Or buy it now and enjoy a solo playthrough, just avoid heartland at all costs.

I am a HUGE fan of survival games, and I had my eye on this game until recently when I finally purchased it for myself. I love the heck out of it, but I do see a couple issues that could be worked on a little bit.

Tutorial: The current tutorial is kind of alright, but I wish it was a little more in depth of how the building function works. I never knew about holding R to literally access a bunch of new kinds of blocks until recently about 68 hours in. Maybe less useless crafting that most players will scrap and more useful info. I mean, start with a couple crafting things like 1. Stone Axe 2. Wooden Club 3. Armor 4. Food (show them how to cook) 5. Building except not just make block and right click it (tell them what holding r does, different kinds of rotating, stuff like that) 6. Combat (explain weakpoints and give tips on how to fight zombies for beginners like waiting for the zombie to attack first)

Graphics: This I can look past pretty easily but the models still somehow look worse than Left4Dead zombies. I know its early access but this game has been in early access for almost 7 years. The worst model in my opinion is for sure the stripper model because its like, why is there a stripper zombie roaming in a small town, wouldn't there be like cop zombies or idk just dude zombies with like plaid shirts and jeans or something?

Vehicles/Roads: It is almost impossible to pave roads to you liking to make them like the natural ones that spawn. Because of this, if you do not traverse on spawned roads or manmade structures, your vehicle will have a tough time because of the tiniest of slopes. Maybe introduce a pave tool that can edit how steep a hill between two dirt/pavement blocks are?

Death: This is my worst nightmare. Not just because I suck at the game sometimes but because when you lose all your stuff, it shows up in a tiny backpack that blends in with the ground. If you die once, cool because you have the tracker that shows where your backpack is. Twice? Say goodbye to your things because you will literally never be able to find the tiny backpack anywhere. My suggestion? Make the deathbox a light source or change it to something that stands out more.

Don't get me wrong, I love the game. I love pretty much any survival game that has a progression system of levels that makes me want to restart over and over to try new things. I just think some work needs to be done and eventually when they decide its done, it might just be the perfect zombie survival game people are looking for.
