Game itself is good. However the way it is provided is total garbage. Microsoft just being the scummy company they are.
The amount of downsides to having updates be done thrid-party and in-game instead of through steam is higher than the amount of times TX2 was booed at the Download festival, for instance:
- The download takes you 1 hour at the least, and because its ingame, when you can finally play the game you already have "played" half the maximum playtime to refund something, so if you play for a little longer than an hour after you are finally allowed to play and you feel msfs is not really for you, you can't refund it.
- If you want to uninstall msfs through steam, because the main big update files aren't handled by steam, it will only uninstall the initial 2 GB from the launcher. If you want to fully remove the absolute behemoth of gigabytes that is msfs, you'll have to go to a separate folder (%appdata%/Microsoft Flight Simulator/Packages/Official/Steam) and delete the files yourself. Not only is this more tedious, but it makes it harder to uninstall this behemoth to most new players not familiar with this.

Longstory short: Game is good and fun, but it is absolutely weighed down due to the stupid garbage system of not handling updates through steam. If only Microsoft would finally handle updates through steam, this would really become one of the best games in existence, in my opinion (copium).

The game is way to overpriced for what it actually is.
The game already isn't fun at all and I think the fair price should be 19.99. Unfortunately, I played it for 4 hours so I couldn't get a refund for it. I wouldn't reccommend buying this game at all, it's too expensive and it isn't even that good.
I wish I didn't spend the eyewatering amount of *49.99* on this game. Worst financial decision of my life yet. There are thousands of games much better that this one way cheaper to the point that you could get 2-3 good games with the price of 1 bad game from a greedy company like EA.
If you still want to play a Shooter PVZ game, get GW2, it's cheaper and way more content-rich than this one.
Other than that, worse Steam Purchase I have ever done, dont recommend it, too expensive and overall mid/10.
