Early Access Review
I originally started playing this game on the Switch but didn't got far into it other then unlocking all the realms. I had always prefer playing games on the PC then on any kind of consoles so when the game came out on the PC I was happy to see that and started playing again and boy did this game basically taken over my life.

Now don't get me wrong, this game has it's annoyance and bugs that I want to point out that was pointed out by others:

Bugs:
  • Candle will randomly bug out on you not letting you light anything which is like 90% of the game
  • On doors requiring 2 or more people to open will sometimes not trigger right away
  • Game will randomly bug out and forces you to walk making it so some challenges are hard to complete and the only way to fix the bug is to exit out of the game and relaunch it.
  • Probably more then I'm missing

Annoyance:
  • Server splits and merges can get really annoying, especially when you're playing with a friend while holding hands when suddenly the server decides to split and putting you and your friend into 2 different servers forcing you or your friend to teleport home then teleport back. It is also annoying when you teleport to your friend and on your way to meet up with them when suddenly the server split happens and you have to start all over again going back home then teleport back to your friend.
  • Unable to teleport to your friend at random times. This is usually because the server max has been reached which is 8 players total. It would be nice if there was a method so you could still teleport to them regardless if the server already has 8 players or not. They could probably do something similar to what they do for the Aurora concert or with the Passage Stone (the night area of Isle of Dawn) where you can see many other players as simple polygons.
  • On the subject of polygons, would be nice if they did that for Aviary Village as well so you can easily meet up with your friends before going into a realm with them.
  • Being forced to install the game on your mobile device if you want to link your other accounts. Like, come on, you should be able to link additional accounts from the PC as well, why is the mobile version the only method to link additional accounts? This is just dumb on the developers side of things.

Those are all I could think of at the moment but overall I really do enjoy this game and despite the annoyances and bugs it's still very much playable and enjoyable.

Two days ago I would had given this a positive review, but now after Sony is forcing PSN registration and linking? Not any more. Sony, if you want Arrowhead and HD2 to prosper even further, you should reverse this decision (since we all know that it's you that's forcing Arrowhead to force PSN registration).

Does this force PSN registration effect me? Not really since I already have a Sony account, but come on, you weren't required this to begin with, and you were still able to crossplay just fine (sure it was buggy, especially when you're trying to join your friend when the lobby is set to friends only saying that the lobby is private when you're friends still but if YOU, Sony, had not forced Arrowhead's hands on using YOUR servers and let them built their own servers, I'm sure it would had worked 10000x over, just look at FFXIV for an super amazing example where there's crossplay between PC and Playstation with no issues and can even change between them). So it basically comes down to the principle of this.

So, Sony, once again, rethink this decision, cause all you're doing is hurting your rep with the PC gamers and the developers of this game.

tl;dr: fu Sony

Edit 2024/05/06 - I am aware that SONY has decided to reverse their decision to force PSN registration and linking at the current time but looking at the packages repo history shows that country restrictions is still in effect and for that reason alone I'll be keeping my review as is until SONY removes that restriction.

What can I say? I've played the original and when this remake came out I had to buy it. It's whacky and fun. Too bad they removed the serious room since there's no option to cheat but the serious room lived on.

Highly recommend that you give this game a go!

Do you like Tetris? Do you like chill music? Then you'll like this game. This is probably one of the better tetris games out there that has a great sound track.

Among us... a game that suddenly blew up in popularity that I never even heard of until it blew up. Game is a lot more fun when playing with a group in voice chat so you can sus each other in more of a real time then trying to get things done over chat. Game is free on mobile so if you have that one friend that says they can't play you can point them to the mobile version so they have no excuses.

Game premise of the game is to either work with your fellow crew mates to get tasks done and to find the impostor(s) (if you're a crew mate) or to sabotage and kill the crew mates (if you're the impostor). Very basic game but has deep thoughts involved.

Highly recommended if you have a group you can play with. Even if you don't have a group you could play with randos but be warned that when playing in a public lobby you will run into:

  • Players who will leave if they're not impostor
  • Hackers
  • People who will throw sus for no reason what so ever
  • People who just wants to watch the world burn

tl;dr: why so sus?

Like visual novels? Like cute girls in visual novels? Like cute girls flying and racing in the sky using Grav-Shoes in visual novels? Then Aokana is the visual novel for you. Just trust me on this, guys, have I ever steered you wrong? (Don't answer that).

I don't get to play games much and I haven't had much chances to actually just sit down and play this game as well but it's a very enjoyable game and cutisy as well.

I have a confession to make: I somewhat knew what the VN was about before I've actually played it. I didn't knew 100% of what this VN was going to throw at me but even knowing a little bit still threw me in for an emotional rollercoaster ride.

I've played my fair share of VNs long before VNs started popping up in steam, and even more before official translations of them started proping up so I would like to think I've played one I've basically played them all. But no, again, this just turned my world upside down.

So what the hell kind of VN is this? One that actually does play with your mind and I don't mean that in a happy go feeling type of way either. One that will make you go "did that really just happen?"

What is this VN about? Four cute girls that does cute things such as flirt with you, give you poems for you to read, your typical slice-of-life but with a twist. I so want to say more but one part of me don't want to spoil it for you and another part of me just simply can't put it down in words because of how beautifully excuted it was done that words simply cannot express how good this game is. Just know this, there's a reason why in the community we say, "doki doki is not oki doki."

So here's my review, one of very few that I ever do, this VN is so much love and you should really play.

It's a VN but it's also a game where you mix drinks and get drunk or try to get the other person drunk, either or. Fun game. Gotten it long before it was officially out on Steam so I've played the prequel which has my vote for this game.

Only got 26.3 Hours in on record and haven't completed the game (yet) but honestly this is probably the best Batman game I've played out of the Arkham series despite all the issues that everyone else having issues with the game. I'm running an AMD FX-9370 with an nVidia GeForce GTX 980 for my primary card and a GTX 650 for my PhysX. Before I switched to those 2 cards I was using a single Raidon HD 7850 which worked just fine on low settings (now I'm able to play at much higher res). Only time I get low frame rate is when I'm in Stagg's research lab for some weird reason but despite that everything else works just fine
