This game has nice fluid movement. The graphics are cool and the soundtrack is great also. I love the kick attack the most.
I have only played the first three levels; I hope the puzzle side of the game doesn't bog down the fighting too much, so far it seems ok. I think the devs should just do away with the puzzles altogether and amp-up the fighting, but that is just my own humble opinion. May update this review once I have completed all levels, shall see. Anyway thumbs up, it's fun little free demo. I'm sure the full game will be just as good if not better.

It's ok. A simple game to kill time for thirty minutes.

Easy to complete and great for Achievement Hunters.

This game is an absolute classic. In my humble opinion has barely aged some 10 years since release. Styx is just great, with a unique high-fantasy story line and super-huge stealth maps to explore. There are multiple ways to sneak towards your goals, with the choice of using a long deadly knife to backstab and brutish goblin magic to trick and evade. There are enemies around every corner, secret tunnels to discover and huge walls to scale. Not a dull moment truly.

So, yeah...I love this game. Definitely will be one of my all time favourites for sure. Worth buying whether full price or on sale (the discount is often around 90% ). May need put aside least 20 hours to complete first playthru, even on easy as levels are vast. Be prepared to die quite a lot too (elves are badass, just sayin ////).... the pain is worth the satisfaction when completed.

Good luck Rakash!

A short dark visual novel. Enjoyable, educational and thought provoking.

Really wanted to give this a good review. Game looks great, has a nice classic RPG feel.....but the game is limited in how you can deal with monster encounters. It is impossible to evade powerful creatures, you will die when you enter a room that has a superior opponent. And then you have to start (way, way back somewhere) and do the whole thing again.

A player should ALWAYS have a choice whether or not to engage with the enemy. Or if they cannot escape an enemy, it is because the have delved too deep into a dungeon and bitten off more than they can chew. But stumbling across a vampire almost at the beginning of the dungeon! Really! Why not make it a troll? ....because that is what the devs are doing, (trolling the player.)

Won't be buying the game, sorry (not sorry). Cheers

I imagine the Plague Tales games had a lot of influence from Shadwen. A female protaganist and a child companion with similar stealth missions to Plague Tales in dark cities with deadly guards wandering about.
The difference to Plague Tales is the time stop and reversal (similar to the game "Iron Danger"), used when you mess up and die, which is so much better than restarting the level. And also the protaganist has a rope gun (like in Dishonored) to spiderman along the rooftops.

The tutorial is in my humble opinion is the hardest level in the game, with an obstacles course more difficult than anything else you will encounter. The controls and time reversal feel super weird initially but do grow easier to use as the game progresses. I could see many players quitting in the first level for these reasons, but if you get thru the early stages, the game truly becomes highly enjoyable.

Spoiler Alert: There is no end boss fight, which is disapointing; sneaking thru the final room ends the game. If you like boss fights, this game is not for you. If you love stealth then I recommend Shadwen. It's fun.

Choo Choo is a lot of fun. The game is either very easy to beat or near impossible to beat depending on which difficulty you choose (Classic and/or Nightmare Modes) . The story unfolds at a good pace and the few puzzles are a breeze to solve.

Choo Choo is simple, enjoyable and entertaining, great for kids and adults alike.

Pretty relaxing little puzzle game.

Should be able to 100% in around an hour without a guide.
