Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful/wretched art style, just great all around. I really liked that you can avoid dealing with the monster in most of the entire map by exploring and bypassing opening the powered gates, functionally shutting the monster inside a smaller area.

This is such a good, fun, well designed game that's absolutely deserving of an audience I worry it has yet to find properly. I absolutely recommend newcomers go at Grind mode as you can retry maps & won't lose much progress if you fail a mission.

No FOV settings and a tight, x-axis defined FOV setting in the game means I'm staring at hair folicles on the back of this guy's neck in ultrawide resolution. Unplayable this way.

Brilliantly done. There's so much game in this game, especially within it's 4 hour playtime (without going back for secrets etc).

The artstyle, sound, music, and general oppressive atmosphere make this a thumbs up for me. Only one puzzle had me look up the solution, and it's because more than a few puzzles in this game boil down to "find the correct small thing to pick up and put that thing in the only place it can go" and I just couldn't find the small thing I needed right then.

Very odd playing this only after Mouthwashing and feeling the impulse to draw comparisons, only to find Vessels predates Mouthwashing by a few years. Maybe there's something to the comparison but in the other direction.

My single playthrough clocked in at around 90 minutes and I think that it was more than worth the price of admission.

Very good short horror game. The weird ass controls are absolutely essential to the experience.

The music is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rad and I swear I'm getting nostalgia from replaying a real n64 game. The aura on this game is powerful.

Early Access Review
this is a game where you can pick a thing up, put it in a vehicle, and then drive the vehicle (with the thing in it) to a location where you can deposit the thing. that is the kind of game i like, so i like this game.
