Early Access Review
When I saw this announced I was hyped. When I saw it came onto steam in early access I was hyped and bought it immediately. The game is incredibly clean for being in early access and I hope I don't play it too hard that I run into the early access wall but so far its been awesome being able to experience the Hades formula again with new twists for the sequel. The characters are great and the power ups feel pretty good so far! Can't wait to be able to play this game non-stop. Oops, already am.

10/10

I played Larian's previous release in Divinity Original Sin 2. I thought to myself, if Bauldur's Gate 3 is even a fraction as good as that game, then it will have been worth it. Holy crap did I underestimate.
As someone who thoroughly enjoys RPGs and Story Driven games, especially in the genre of D&D, Baldur's Gate 3 was such a fun ride all the way through until the end. When I first heard that it was 3 Acts I foolishly thought "wait, only 3?". Yes there are only three acts, but to put it into a bit of perspective, not rushing through since it was my first play-through, the first act took me roughly ~60 hours. And yes I will admit that some of that time was due to save scumming, but not as much as one would think. The characters are compelling, I dove into my main companion's backgrounds and felt as though I was able to grow and feel every decision they had to make throughout the game. I don't often write reviews, but this game is so good and I can't wait to run through it again with friends, solo, modded, just to experience the other pieces of the story I now realize I had missed.

Wait... when did I get 173 hours on this???

Would highly recommend this game; I've owned every rendition of The Binding of Isaac games and with each one they improve upon so many things. The most updated version of the game is so good by adding new rooms, new enemies, new bosses, etc. And with each playthrough you have such a high chance of unlocking new things to make every new playthrough different. A rogue-lite of outstanding proportions!

Not going to lie I was a little hesitant going into RoR2 because I wasn't sure that the game was right for 3D after the first game was such a hit in 2D. Boy was I wrong. I soon got sucked into this repetitive cycle of "Ooh I got a good build", "Oh I died, never playing this again", "Welllll......maybe one more, and this time I'll do something different" again and again. And now with the addition of an end-game it makes it so that those who don't enjoy the cycle of just going from world to world, an actual goal for the endgame and with the endgame comes more content! I would highly recommend RoR2 and though I personally haven't done much multiplayer, I'm sure that it makes it just as much more fun!

Quite possibly one of my to favourite RPGs of all time.

To be honest I saw Divinity Original Sin 2 while browsing for a new game to play and thought it looked very well done and decided to pick it up. I never could have imagined how badly it would hook me in. I am now going through my second playthrough on Honour mode and another playthrough with my friends and am finding all sorts of quests and meaningful dialogue I passed by while playing solo. This definately has some game of the year material. Not only with an already amazing game but with very helpful updates that make the game even more enjoyable.

If you enjoy turn based, dnd-esque RPGs; this is the game for you.

Great with friends!

Well the day has finally come, Ark has successfully broken the early release barrier that so many other games have yet to even think about going through. Ark, I believe is a very successfull game.

Now to get things out of the way I'll state the obvious.
- Yes I know the price hike was a bit extreme
- Yes I know this isn't the type of game for everyone
- Yes I know you may thing this game is garbage so you can crap on other reviews

Now that thats out of the way, let me delve into why I think this game is pretty freaking sweet.
Running on PC, Ark:Survival Evolved was a game that had me immediately hooked. I remember way back in the day I was going through multiplayer games and Ark happened to pop up in the list. The ability to have a sandbox experience and be able to tame freaking dinosaurs got me hooked instantly. I started to play on an official server with some friends of mine (of which I'll never do again, official is way too slow for me but those who play it your troopers) and it was nuts. Trying to find each other while being hunted by raptors or other large carnivores was a rush. But we soon realized that official was not for us as we did not want to spend 13 real time hours taming one dino only to have it killed within the hour. So we moved to unofficial, and man did the possibilities open up. With moding available on the PC, ark has so much potential to create so many new and exciting adventures. Even after leaving Ark for quite some time to deal with life I was able to come back to new dinos, new features, and new adventures. Though many would stray away from this game, I think it is a wonderful addition to a group's library and would highly recommend it.

Brilliant.

Tabletop Simulator in itself is a gem, with its easy game mechanics and style it makes the manipulation of certain elements and games very fun and interactive. The basic tabletop games are ones that you'd expect to see in everyone's closet; from chess to checkers. With the addition of the Steam Workshop it expands the availability of games exponentionally. Many of the popular, well critiqued, board games are available due to very talented and dedicated modders.

8/10

- Due to the performance issues for multiplayer and the seemingly unfixable lag between sessions can be frustrating but manageable.

I've played Starbound once or twice before and have come back to it once more, this time however I had modded it with the "Frackin Universe" mod and a few others. Its as if I have a whole new game on my hands by adding this mod and I am thoroughly enjoying it again while playing solo and playing with my comrade. With its simple enough environment, Starbound doesn't seem to be too graphically heavy however I have noticed that via the steam link for multiplayer it isn't the best connection (That could also be that he's on the other side of the country, but you know haha). The map is massive, and deadly, I haven't yet been able to touch the newest update but I'm very excited. All in all, there are a few points where lag happens, but is very seldom, and a few worlds are kinda crazy but I would give Starbound a good 8/10 mainly due to the rough steam link connection for multiplayer.

Early Access Review
Was really excited for the new update to come out until I tried it out on my characters. All of my characters are level 50 but now they all feel like level 5 with how bad the reset hit them. My once fearsome attack character that could dish out a crap load of shots per second is now reduced to roughly three shots per second. They "reinbursed" us for all the upgrades and such we spent our in game money on with the new shards however when I revealed all of my shards, they were all garbage stat upgrades like "2% chance to douse your target" I got roughly five of those in the small batch they gave me. The new update ruined my builders, attackers, and experience for the game. If someone new is coming in then I could see the appeal with being able to work with the new system but for a long time Dungeon Defenders player, this unfortunately has made me turn away from the game. Possibly for good.
