Man, I really want to like this game, I seriously do . . .

So this game comes from the same people that brought us "Inside", which was a brilliant, near flawless game. Limbo, of course, came first and feels in a lot of ways like a proto-Inside.

The game mechanics are pretty much the same: a cinematic, artistically styled, side-scrolling adventure platformer. The visuals are completely stunning and impressive, very immersive. The controls are tight. So far, so good, yes?

Well, here comes the bad news: You may as well call this "A Ton of Cheap Deaths The Game". Don't get me wrong, you'll die alot in the game Inside, but it always feels like you just should of been a little more patient/observant. Like there was something you could have done about it. Limbo, however, seems to be okay with killing you on the spot without any real warning . . . over and over and over again.

Like I said before, I really want to like this game, but I keep finding myself comparing it to Inside, which is pretty much the exact same kind of game, but waaaaay more polished. But hey, if you have time for a game that is visually stunning with pretty darn good controls, but has absolutely no reservations on kicking you in the nuts when you're not looking, pick this one up. If you want the same kind of game, but one that feels challenging without feeling cheap, pick up Inside. (Which means, skip this one and go pick up Inside . . . seriously, go get it.)

This game is brilliant! Wonderful art scheme and style. Solid controls. Fun, not too hard but not too simple puzzle elements. Very interesting story/universe.

It's not good.

Good game with an interesting story, told in an interesting way. Very cool ambience and visuals.

Gameplay is not balanced. There's a completely unnecessary leveling system in this game. The heroes can get an item that pretty much breaks the game for the killer. There are even contradictions in the tutorials versus what will actually occur in-game.

Really cool idea with a whole lot of potential, but poor execution.

If you're a fan of point and click adventure games or murder mysteries or especially both, you should certainly give this game a try.

One of the most unique and fun games I've ever played. This game is so incredibly over-looked, it's a shame.

This is simply some of the most fun and interesting multiplayer I've ever experienced.

This game is visually stunning without being system intensive. However, what really makes this game shine is its story and ambiance. I cannot recommend this enough, it redefines how stories can be and perhaps should be told.

This game seems to have issues with balance and hit detection. The gameplay generally feels uninspired and boring. This was a huge let down. While graphically it's superior to the original, I have to recommend the original when it actually comes to gameplay.
