Early Access Review
If you have played any action roguelike games out there, or any similarities from an old Nes, Snes, or any other console generations, then you my friend have come to the right place. So let's begin with this review:

Quest Master is inspired by Zelda games that uses top-down 2d format, like the old Nes Zelda, Link to the Past, Four Swords adventure, Minish Cap, even old Gameboy Games out there like Link's Awakening, and even the Oracle series, same to 2 DS games, like Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. Not just that, you can actually make your own dungeons and share it to the community to try it out, and you can even play player created dungeons as well!

Honestly, there was no other dungeon makers out there that matches this level as it was made with love, even for the Zelda Fans out there.

This game is currently on Early Access by the time of making this review, because you will time to time run into bugs, but that's ok, because the hardworking devs are actively patching the game. Plus, the game is getting frequent weekly updates of adding new contents to the game. This shows how much they care about the game. And we as players are actively post bug reports and they will immediately patch the game. And of course, they posted the roadmap of what's coming within each month before leaving early access.

There was a mario maker out there, but, no zelda maker? This is where Quest Master shines! Other dungeon makers out there were either left abandoned, or stop receiving updates. This is a soultion what we want!

If i have to rate this game between 1-10, i'd break the scale and just add more than 10! This game is fantastic! Heavy amounts of ideas that you can do and make in the game. There are so many tools and entities you can work with in the game, and as I said, it's getting weekly updates.

Now, do yourself a favor and buy this game now, many future contents will arrive soon. I will heavily recommend this game to anyone, or everyone that is a fan of Zelda games. You won't be disappointed.

Early Access Review
Basically Escape from Tarkov, but in Medieval style setting.

So, I was in a final playtest, after trying out this game, it feels so... so good. I love the combat styles of different classes you can choose from. They all have their own pros and cons, some class has an advantage over other classes. So whatever playstyle you like to choose from, go for it.

I'm so glad they added a Tutorial for this game that Dark and Darker is heavily lacking. Tutorial can really help new players out there who has never played this type of game. They even add the training mode, which is nice to test out your builds, or practice your skills before going into Casuals or Classic.

You can actually play not just solos, but Duos and Trios as well!

Just remember, this game is PvPvE, which means not only you are dealing with NPCs, but players as well. And when you die, you lose everything you have on and players can take your hard-earned gear and treasures you find in the dungeon.
As this game is a Dungeon Crawler 'extraction', which means, you don't have much time left in the dungeon as you'll need to escape before everything goes dark, and you will forfeit your life and all the stuff you have on.

The treasure can be sold for gold, while the gear you collect can be used to break them down into materials and craft your heirlooms. Or you can keep your gear and save them as you can use them in the next dungeon run.

I highly recommend this game to people who enjoy these types of games.

So, see you in the dungeon. And as they say, "Fortune favors the bold!"

EDIT: From all the comments and reviews I've seen, and what the devs did to this game, I'm sorry, but I'm changing my recommendations to a big NO. I hope they fix their blunder, so for now, I'm sticking my review to a negative. Go play Dark and Darker instead.

Early Access Review
This is actually a great game to be honest. I've sank several hours into this game, and boy, let me tell you, this game is not beginner friendly. There's no tutorial to teach new players on how to play this game, and maybe hopefully in the future the game will have one. There are some issues with the rubberbanding, and occasional freezes during the beginning of the match (maybe because I have a bad gpu, but I can still get around 60 fps on low settings). Keep in mind by the time I am writing this that the game is on Early Access.

You get to choose between 9 classes, such as Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue, Ranger, Wizard, Squire, Bard, Warlock, and Driud. Currently Warlock is the stronest, but by the time of the writing, they will get nerfed.

My advice is to look up the video about how to deal and dodge monster's attacks, otherwise you'll be in for a pain, you'll likely not last long in the dungeon.

Similar to Escape from Tarkov, but in medieval style. Your objective is to collect treasure, carry as much as you can and escape. Also, if you're brave enough, you can take on the high risk for more fortune. But remember, there are players as well, and they will kill you and take your stuff, so be ready to fight, or escape if you can.

So yeah, I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys pvp, and roguelikes. You can partner up to duo, or trio.

Good luck fellow adventurers, and may fortune favors you.

EDIT: I suggest you install the game on an SSD, and not in HDD. It seems HDD performance will be bad, especially after getting into a match, you'll likely freeze for few secs (due to their anti-cheat), I had that problem before, but playing in a SSD will yield better results.

So.... where to begin...

I also own this game on the Android and let me tell you, the game is fantastic in many ways. You use cards to battle the enemies in a roguelike style. You have to use your wits to overcome the obstacles that gets in your way. And, if you like taking risk and chances on artifacts, up to you. And of course, you will die, along the way, but that's ok, there's always room for another attempts. Think of it as a learning experience.

I have played similar roguelike deckbuilder games on Android, such as Pirate's Outlaw, Dawncaster, Dicey Dungeons, and a game on steam such as Roguebook, all are excellent titles. And if you enjoy them, check'em out!

I highly recommend this game to deckbuilding roguelike lovers out there. You won't be disappointed!

The character customization is great. However, people posting negative reviews because they couldn't get into the game. For crying out loud, it's a pre-download. The servers will open on June 15, which is tomorrow by the time i write this review. People just simply can't read... Server opens at 9 AM EST, 6 AM PST.

People, just be patient. If you want to pass time, read a book or play another game for the time being, or continue showing off the nice look of your character in character customization.

Will update the review when it goes Live.

UPDATE as of 6/15/23: I've sinked several hours into this game already, 44 mins early was during pre-customization several days ago when the servers are not open yet. So, let me break this down to you of what I know so far:

-It has similarities from Life After on mobile, basically crafting weapons, finding resources, kill zombies, hunt animals for food, loot, and do mission with other survivors as well. You can join other people's camps, kind of like a clan thing. You can summon a bike to go from place to place so you don't have to constantly walk from far destinations. And hey, you also can set up your own base, to keep and dump your hard-earned resources in case your inventory space is jam-packed.

I didn't explore further into what more you can do, but everything is almost exactly the same as Life After.... but BETTER! I was hyped about this game when they open their servers and boy they didn't disappoint me. I had great experience with this game so far. Sure the graphics isn't too fancy, but hey, I love it so far! This is a huge wake-up call for Life After, they should follow this game's examples. Everything the game has to offer are right here. I don't believe in this 'P2W' nonsense, because 'everybody is a winner.'

Now, if you are looking for a free survival game to play with others (or solo, up to you), then this game is welcoming you with open arms.

Arm yourself survivor, we need you, so come join!

This is not a bad game. I didn't sink much hours into this game, and got it since last year while it was on alpha. After it left Early Access this year, it's been great so far. If you like open world rpg, then I can recommend this game for ya.

From the past, I had ignored this game because it is not my kind of game, but as this point, upon watching people play this game, I got curious and wanting to try it out. Then my friend gifted me this game, along with the dlcs, and after trying them out, I became speechless. I couldn't stop playing this game for hours because how good and addicting it is. So many classes to choose with different styles and builds, and I have died countless times, but I'm slowly learning. I regret ignoring this game so many years ago, and I'm happy to be able to play this game now.

A really fun roguelike game. Give it a go, You'll never stop playing it!
