Combat is amazing. I only wish ACs move faster like in the previous games.

The game's combat is great.

Jelly bean game that people seem to take too seriously.

This is a hidden gem. I would recommend this to anyone that likes the RPG genre.

Pros:
- The combat system is very good.
- The story is quite predictable at some points but the overall story is still good.
- Rewards exploring.

Cons:
- While the combat is good, the enemy types are quite repetitive.
- I wish there was an English dub because there were instances in the game where there was dialogue during combat and sometimes it's easy to miss them.

Neutral opinion:
- There are side-quests that you can miss if you do not pay attention to the environment or back-track to certain locations at certain points in the game.
- The housing system is nice but I wish it had more depth.
- I wish they also provided translations for the achievements to allow non-Chinese speakers to better understand what the intention and goal of each achievement is.

I can't really recommend this game in its current form because it is very unpolished. First of all, the movement is horrible, I have tried to re-map controls to try to have a way to "force move" to no avail. Secondly, while, the skill animations are nice, they also feel clunky due to how unresponsive hotkeys are. Lastly, all the the bugs in this game are really annoying and any goodwill I had coming into this game have slowly been chipped away due to issues that I have encountered.

Anyway, maybe I would give this another chance in the future once it gets past alpha testing by people who have the patience to play this broken game.

The game is really fair and the combat is very solid. My only wish is that it had more to offer content-wise because once you finish grinding for achievements, it feels like there's really not much you can do with it other than do challenge runs. Hopefully, From Software decides to continue to support this game via DLC.

Another good entry to the Dragon Quest series.

This is a good game with a few faults.

Pros:

1. Kingdom Building - This part of the game feels like an entire game all together. It feels great to see your young nation develop into a major world power through out the story.

2. Art style - Although Studio Ghibli didn't work on this one, Level 5 has done a decent job of capturing the Ghibli style.

3. Content - There are a lot of side quests in the game. Some of them are pretty straight forward, while some are quite cryptic. People that like to deviate from the main story in order to work on side quests will really love this game.

Cons:

1. Difficulty - The game is kind of easy; however, people tend to over exaggerate about how easy the game is.

2. Performance - My PC meets the recommended requirements; however, I am experiencing some random stuttering during gameplay.

Overall Recommendation:

I would highly recommend this game to people that enjoys traditional JRPGs; however, for people that want challenging combat, this might not be the game for you.

Controls are really tight if you play with a controller. I also like the fact that there are various ways to play the game so the replayability of the game is really good.

Great story with decent writing.

It only really drags on during Kariu's and Tama's story arc.

Hopefully, the four episode finale that they are planning to release next March also ends up on Steam.

It's also worth noting that the show made me realize that I like christmas cakes.
