Great pickup-and-play type of game. Everything you need to know is right there, too, making it even easier to come back to later.

Perfect chill game for me, can take all the time I want and the missions are structured in a way where I can get as wacky as necessary. I went with the base game for ultra cheap and ended up going all in on the DLC. I like spending a whole bunch of time designing stuff even if it's mostly awful... Only mostly!

Definitely not a game for everyone. The limited jobs (that you can redo via archives) are a bit paint-by-numbers and there's a lack of DLC interacting with each other. I wish more than just the Garden DLC showed up as odd jobs. Luxury and HGTV had one demo level each. I mean they do exist if you go to their sections but it's not the same as the emails. Ah well.

I can see myself hitting a hundred hours with this game. Started flipping properties now it's time to hit the big leagues!

Paradoxically simple yet deep. Easy to pickup and play, everything you need is right there inside the game.

This is easily my favorite of the Survivors-likes. I enjoy the pure, distilled gameplay that gets changed up by each character. No interruptions during play, no addiction-triggerin' frills, just straight actual fun.

I've got 1.7k hours put into this game on my Switch. Would be nice if the people contracted to port the game would actually update it. We've received a whole .... singular update since I bought the game on release (3 August 2023). Yeah.

Breakable Objects: The Video Game. The exploration is pretty cool, especially when you find more things to break objects with.

A manhunter decided my seasoned martial artist scout "looks like an escaped slave. Or not. Doesn't matter." Up until that point I'd been considering having another squadie come from across the continent to help occupy the Beak Things (Gutters) while I nicked some of their valuable eggs.

But now, I had a solution. So, I ran super fast away until he lost my track. Double-backed and knocked him out. Carried his unconscious body toward a massive Beak Thing nest and set him down. They tossed his body around for a bit and eventually started eating him while I nicked all their eggs for a massive profit.

I'm about 147 hours into Kenshi and still haven't touched the vast majority of this game. I finally dove into the base-building aspect and it's like a whole other game. There are so many ways to play, and I'm still running into interactions that surprise me. Good stuff.
