Closer to a Rogue-like then Poker, think Yahtzee on an acid trip, 10/10 purchase it on mobile too for train trips!.

Haven't played too much yet, but as so far, it's a faithful recreation, with nice graphics, and all the modern expectations of screen resolution and control remapping.

Absolute Classic game that I've always considered must-play, however it's aged something rotten, in terms of accessibility, controls, screen resolution.

Still a good buy on sale, but if you are someone that must remap controls, or have stuff running at native resolutions now that 1080+ is the norm, it might be a little ugly.

Picked up this game after seeing it featured in AussieDrongo's twitch stream where he was giving away keys. (I paid).

Fun little game with some light Gacha mechanics.

More like an incremental game, then a tower defence, as there is a single turret and lane and no maze.

The early game + run modifiers make for an annoying time getting a run that is viable, and I often resorted to restarting runs quite often and early.

That said, apart from some minor bugs that the developer appears to be aware of and working on, it's addictingly fun to create broken imbalanced combo's, too many games focus on 'perfect' balance these days when I don't think it's needed for the rogue-lite genre.

If you are playing this expecting a significant deviation from the original with new content don't bother.

Whilst some exists, it's not the subversive experience the email marketing would lead you to believe, had you explored the original fairly well.

Either that, or they take their sweet time revealing the extra content.

For that reason, I find it difficult to pay the asking price, having also paid for the original.

I knew I would be buying this game instantly on launch because it had me hooked from the demo.

I had sunk more hours into the Demo then I had many of my steam library back catalog.

I await with anticipation new content, as BOTH the demo and the game always seem to be leaving me wanting more, more combinations, more events, and see what unfolds, but to me this speaks more about the quality of what exists already, then to what I feel is missing.

However the game currently seems to contain no meta-progression, no unlocks, and whilst I havn't explored them all yet, a limited number of events.

If this is a deal breaker for the price, you may wish to wait, but I have faith the game will flesh out and improve, and happy to back the early access just based on the fun and hours I've already had in the demo.

I've not said this about many games.

The game is little more then 3 copies of the demo, as there are 2 stages not included in the demo, however with the way the mechanics stack, as it is a rogue-like, provides a fair amount of replay-ability for the price.

If you don't like the demo, hold off on purchase.

Too reliant upon RNG, but otherwise fun for a bit.

Better with the DLC, otherwise it's a free classic remake of a flash game.

The hitreg on the paddles is broken to the point where it's unplayable from australia. Ping matters far too much.

Game has Janky DPI issues, (that can be fixed using windows compatibility) but then the cursor is STILL offset.

Otherwise solid worms game, but the crafting is sort of awkward.
