This game has character. You can see the inspiration it takes from games like Half Life and Metro 2033 throughout the game, not just the easter eggs. A handful of sections/chapters with a variety of gameplay and locations.

The game does have a fair amount of crust. First of all it's slow, and I mean S L O W, especially in the beginning. You can go off and explore the area while waiting for your companion to saunter to the progression marker but you might miss out on dialogue if that's important to you. Graphical bugs here and there. Also movement feels so bad when colliding with things.

There's also a few mechanics in the game that are barely used. Two safes that are related to achievements, being able to push a barricade which is also achievement-related, a UV light, and a lockpicking minigame (that's still better than most lockpicking minigames). Maybe this isn't criticism, but it's weird, though that can be said about the whole game. Nothing's really fleshed out but there's a good deal of variety in a short game.
