I played the old 98' on my childhood version of this game and by the sudden coincidence I see this version on the store, damn that old memories fluorished. What an amazing game!! I was surprised to find a still active multiplayer community, with tourneys and all, even modding projects.
The game is a weird (and awesome) mix of RTS with FPS done in a really nice way. I totally recommend this game, the learning curve is quite steep but once you start getting the hand of it you won't be able to stop playing, tons of fun and replayability
