This game lost my attention once they implemented multiplayer. "As the lone survivor of a passenger jet crash, you find yourself in a mysterious forest battling to stay alive against a society of cannibalistic mutants." loses its impact when you aren't the lone survivor and target being another generic survival game instead. I waited on this games release into early access with much anticipation, after seeing its first trailer and reading about the premise. Now it's another early access regret and a reminder to be careful and what EA game you put your money into.

I fully know how hard it is to fix and develop a videogame. I bought into this game the first day it was available the summer before I went to college. I waited for that chance to buy it for around a year befor that eagerly anticipating it. What I played of the game at release filled me with the same dread and excitement as I got from watching movies like The Grey and The Descent, two of my favorite movies.

The addition of multiplayer and the seeming focus on that experience is not what I expected or wanted out of the game. I wanted an immersive solo survival game that gave me a similar experience to the above mentioned movies. That's what had my excitement. Again simply my opinion, I have no doubt the developers are compitent given, the extensive coverage I have followed about the game and its amazing what they've done with the engine. Most people seem to like the changes and additions they've made throughout its development and thats great! I personally don't, I'm tired of co-op/multiplayer survival games.
