Epic fantasy story (11 hours of cutcenes!), with one of the best boss fights available in current games. Everything is elevated by fenomenal orchestral music composed by Masayoshi Soken.

Even though the gameplay starts rather bland with only a miniscule tools available to play with, you can get quite creative with it once you get more abilities. In the end you will get so many different skills, that you can be pretty creative with what combos you do and how stylish your fights are.

If you are new to gaming you can always use some cheating items that take care of some gameplay parts you may find trouble with (dodging, making combos, ordering your pet).

Unfortunately side quests in this game are not as perfect as the main story. Most of the optional content consists of killing some enemies or getting items from different parts of map, but there is no need to do them unless you want to know some details about minor characters that you meet in the game.

Cast of the game is also ok, I liked the protagonist Clive, his relations with others, and rest of the cast.
English dubbing is really good, I think that's how this game should be played, especially taking into account, that the ingame world is inspired by Europe.

tldr: Perfect main story (10/10), with passable optional content (6.5/10) must play if you like cool fantasy fights

DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin is known as a game with very high difficulty. After beating it I must say that difficulty comes from unforgiving fighting system, you must carefully time yours attack unless you want to die or run out stamina. So spamming attack button is not a valid option in this game. That is a plus for me. Even after getting best items in the game, you can still get rekt by "weak" enemy.

Graphics are quite decent, but the locations really differ from themselves. Landscapes in some locations are really breathtaking.

Lore is quite interesting, there is no journal in this game, you must listen to all the npc and figure everything on your own.
The amount of different enemies in this game is also a big plus for me.

I liked the multiplayer in this game but some people may hate it. It is integrated with single player, and you can summon others to help you co-op style, but you also can be invaded by players willing to take your life.

I died a lot in my playthrough (somwhere near 350 deaths in my 110 hours of playtime).
10/10 would die again ^^
