Honestly, I like it. Don't care what anyone else says, mostly because I feel like other people over hype stuff, take stuff for granted such as not taking into account how hard it is to develop a live service video game... and when these peoples expectations don't meet up... they get dissapointed, they ♥♥♥♥ on everything about the game. It feels like they're in this love-hate relationship with the game and why do that, when you can just appreciate what you have and take it on a nice pace. It doesn't have to be a pie which you have to gobble every part of it. Can't have everything all at once.

Sure the campaign story isn't clear cut on certain aspects, but that's probably because they are setting stuff up + you're in a tense situation of action and combat where you are trying to stop the villains of doing their nefarious deeds in a city that is under attack by the Shadow Legion. It brings out a lot of questions such as what is the witness trying to do? What is this Veil? Stuff that we can speculate on. Paracausal mysteries to unravel and ponder upon later on. I'm sure we'll find answers to that eventually as more and more plot gets added to the game each season, expansion, update... and I genuinely don't hate it.

I think Nimbus is a cool trans character. There's emotion, optimistic attitude and you can find bunch of character in that, but when you have like max 10 years to live, do you have to go super emo and edgelord on it? I like how the character develops in the later part of the story as well and I like their voice.

Gameplay on legend campaign feels great and sufficiently challenging. Strand subclass rocks the more and more you get used to it's feel. Loadout update is a nice addition and more user friendlier than before, but still have to rely on DIM and companion app to save time on inventory management and bounty acquisition... New exotics sound exciting to try out and figure how to use them well in loadouts.

At the moment as of this writing. Busy with the raid since I am doing it blind with clan. We are close to finishing it and so far I like it. It is quite approachable and I like how it ties to story.

My concern is on the amount of content they're expected to churn out... maybe have longer seasons, add more time to develop stuff?

I do think the price increase is a bit much versus previous expansion... is it because of Sony Acquisition? Global price increase because of the war happening in Ukraine...? I don't know but I <3 the game and its developers... so haven't really lost anything on it.

This bug adventure metroidvania game is really, really fun. The joy of discovering is really great as you progress through this games various areas with their own themes, the lore, captivating music, artstyle, and gameplay with also epic boss fights included is really brain melding.

Developers seem very comitted and enthusiastic on delivering an fun, awesome sci-fi, fantasy, action experience with this game. There are likable queer coded characters.

The bad is that the higher ups have laid off a bunch of devs there which is why it feels hard to recommend this game... :c

I am a fanatic for challenging games and this sequel to vermintide 1 has managed to be quite fun like the 1st one. A co-op game that shares a similar design to l4d where you also run from a maps beginning to the end while also facing hordes of enemies to kill. It's not some massive rpg game where you quest and quest for some epic story and loot. This game in fact offers a lot of replayability, you challenge with your teammates through surviving hordes of pactsworn

5 characters with different subclasses and various weapons offer multiple loadouts and each run through a map is different. You also get various dialogue with good voice acting between the characters. The most fun I had is when you join and everyone else is struggling and it is up to you to clutch and save the run. What I love is the meele aspect of the game and it is hard to find similar games with that core nature of it.

End game is just at the moment a hunt to complete your veteran item collection, challenges and cosmetics. level reward boxes just offer stuff to salvage for scrap which doesn't really have much use once you amassed enough content... to be honest, I don't care about loot anymore that highly... the core part of the game is the gameplay... If I wanted to play for loot and digital items then I would be playing something else like an mmo rpg game or whatever...

there's also mods in V2 which may prove to be fun and sustain players appetite for things to do...

The game gets better with each update.

Even though written by men... so there's room for questioning here, the validity of the story here and how really relatable it is to actual lesbians...? I mean the developers next game has a faceless male protagonist... so mixed feelings about that other game...
