Avoid this one at all costs - the devs have sold the game and the site now redirects to an entirely different game full of ads and attempting to steal your data. BEWARE!

It's really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.

Not a lot of replay value of course, due to it being a narratively linear puzzle/detective game, but very, VERY fun.

The core mechanics of plant identification and exploration are extremely engaging and the graphics and sound design are great. Highly recommended for everyone that enjoys plant, puzzle games, narrative experiences and mystery.

The game is short, well structured, well voiced and the pixel art is absolutely gorgeous.

I only have two nitpicks:

Firstly, some segments are fairly long and a bit tideous, since there is no new discoveries to be made and you are merely doing classic point-and-click busywork trying to figure out who can give you the relevant information.

Seconly, the end is (as far as I can tell) fixed - you can not improve the overall outcome by being clever, researching well, or discussing the right points with the right people. That means the finally feels a bit cruel/cheaty because it happens the same way no matter what.

That does not detract from the ride itself, though. The buildup of tension is slow but effective, there is a lot of story to be found between the lines and in the hints dropped at well-known folklore.

I recommend playing this game, because for 10 € you really don't do anything wrong here, even if you end up disliking it.

The Steam Version graphical update is precisely the overhaul the game needed to become more accessible and simultaineously retain it's insane depth and complexity.

It's really quite fun. A fast-paced spin on the autobattler formula.

It's really fun if you enjoy playing chess, but also if you enjoy turn-based strategy.

Go buy it, well worth the small price.

Definitly worth it.

The colony management takes precedent over the dungeon runs, which may be a dealbreaker for people looking for the next Binding of Isaac or Hades.

This is a more focused experience than the longer-running roguelites, with less of a sprawling upgrade tree and insane synergies and more building and growing being the enjoyable parts for your creative freedom.

Overall, definitly recommended. If money is tight and you value time for dollar, you should probably wait for a sale.

Absolute classic, highly recommended for those looking for the best Fallout experience, an easy way of getting into Bethesda RPGs or just a plain old good time in an open world with immense freedom of choice, hilarious dialogue and deep mechanics.

Protip: Do not play DLCs on your first run.

E: Update after a few more hours: It's still very fun!

I'm a Chivalry veteran and have played my share of melee dude stabbing simulators.

This game, even though it's just the core gameplay loop, tickles all the right spots for me.

It is fast and terrifyingly lethal.

It is highly responsive without feeling twitchy.

It is authentic without getting so realistic it becomes boring (the diverse characters and accurate fighting styles are a real treat).

If you have the money to throw at a project that shows immense promise, please do buy this game and support the developers. They have found a formula that is fresh, entertaining and requires immense skill.

Despite being inferior to Fallout: New Vegas in every way, I will still recommend this at a budget price.

Pick it up in a sale together with the Far Harbor DLC and you will get a lot of content for not a lot of money.

While the limited dialogue options and the gutted Stat Check system (no [XX/YYY] stats are shown any more) limit the depth and freedom of play, the characters are mostly fun and the basebuilding is enjoyable, if you are into this kind of thing.

So in a nutshell: Get it, but not for more than 20 €.
