The Half Life 3 we deserve. Its brilliant.

While Dom 5 was essentially Dom 4.5, Dom 6 is a more meaningful upgrade. Some of the autistry was streamlined - eg. you no longer need to watch battle reports and click on an enemy unit during the battle to confirm the bless they use, you only need to have had the opportunity to do so and the game will report the bless characteristics in the nation display. There are tons and tons of little changes like this - multiple dispel options now, much more utility magic, a new magic path, underground being an actual map, in engine diplomacy, including with AI. Oh, and now there is built-in MP game support in the client, without needing to run a server or join a community.

This is without a doubt the best Dominions yet and Illwinter have truly delivered. Recommended.

A heck of a good time

A solid, enjoyable shooter with a well told story and creepy environments. Some sections are stronger than others but on the whole excellent good murder-timing.

A complete masterpiece that few have heard of. Best played with others.

The game, the legend.

An unfinished mess after endless promises. Playable in the sense it runs, if barely. Lied about co-op only to implement a broken version of it - the campaign never got the promised co-op. To me, perfectly exemplifies the way Fatshark does game development - quick and dirty, always looking to make a fast buck, with no care for their craft. Avoid - it really is a pile of trash.

If Battlefield 1942 and Squad had a baby. The spiritual heir to the Battlefield series with a more realistic take on gunplay and vehicles and a far more tactical gameplay. Clunky at first - improves with experience, slowly aging rather like a fine wine. Playing with randoms is ..ok.. the community is welcoming and generally helpful. Recommended if you like big manshooter-em-ups.
