How much you like this game depends on how much you like Doom Eternal. If you like juggling guns, you'll love this game. If you care about a game letting you "play the way you want to", you'll hate this.

Also it's hilarious.

It's maybe worth playing through with friends once if you ignore the terrible writing.

Game uses the load out and upgrade systems as a crutch for what's otherwise a subpar left 4 dead clone.

You know how you think back on an old game and it's actually not as awesome as you remember it? This remaster makes sure Quake is the complete opposite of that.
